Bait and switch I called Kia Garden grove salesman Joe Win on 8/20/14 after reading a mailer from them that had a Kia soul listed for $9999 with Dealer discounts and I called Kia Garden grove salesman Joe Win on 8/20/14 after reading a mailer from them that had a Kia soul listed for $9999 with Dealer discounts and loyalty rebates.I knew I didn't qualify for the loyalty rebate of $1000.The sales man assured me it was an automatic since it came with alloy wheels.So I drove to garden grove Kia and they showed me a stick shift with no alloy wheels.The manager said I could get one of the star cars for around $13000 dollars that had automatic and alloy wheels.I offered $12500 but they said I could get it for $14300. Which is way over the around $13000 he said at first.I feel they false advertise a lower price and tell you to come in and then switch to a more expensive car.If they had been honest in the beginning I would have drove out with one of there cars.If this is the way you are treated by the sales staff I would hate to find out about how they might gouge you in the service department. Not a single person acknowledged us inside the waiting area. I think we waited for 20 to 30 mins and ended up leaving. sales reps were around but nothing happened. 2013 i had purchased a KIA at another dealership and this Garden Grove KIA was were i was advised to do my service. I have gone here on 5 different occasions and 3 of the times have been very poor. about a month or two ago, we had gone to get our car checked out and the service tech b advised us on what we should do to fix the issue and also had heard a whining noise under the hood and that we just need to call in a make an appt to get this resolved as its covered under warranty. Like nothing i called back another day and the person on the line said that there are no notes in the system for this conversation and that we would have to pay full price for a check up and of course come back again to get the part replaced when that comes in. We happened to have a photo of the notes of the tech stating the issue of the whining noise, so today, the Manager, Enrique answered and stated that he is unable to just provide/order a new part since the notes aren't in a system and that i need to bring the car in for service etc. I asked him why would i need to come back to check out the car if the are already notes and i have a picture of them with the tech stating that it needs to be replaced and now i have to take time off to get this car check out AGAIN for something that was checked and more than likely they will need me to return yet again once they order the part. He was very difficult and kept talking over me and would not help the situation. He was unwilling to address the situation kindly or even discuss with his employee. This location has been giving us mixed responses since day one which it plain out ridiculous! other times they have been giving me the run around who needs to service my vehicle with the other dealership only bc i purchased the car there. Those two times i went through this, it ended up being KIA that had to service the car, even though i would call and verify each time way before the scheduled date! Definitely done with this Garden Grove dealership. I will no longer request for further services to be done here. More

I go there at 12.31.13 to buy a new car. I don't use credit card whole my life because it's against my religion and i told them that i don't have any credit bad or good. I told them my friend will be cosign she is at Florida. They make me believe i will get car with my friend coolsign and if i deposit some money. I deposit 2.000 same day. They show me a car and said that this is going to be my car and we begin wait. It's take 15 days to decide to tell me that i can't have car because our credit not enough. I already told them that and they already know situation. They offer me to lease i said no and i ask money back. They said come tomorrow it will be ready. When i go there nothing was rady they make me wait another half hour. And give me check for one i paid cash and they said they refund 1400 to back to my debit. Its been 3 days money still not there. They keep my money over 18 days. If i buy a car from them they will probably ask %30 of interest for month. I don't ask interest but its not nice to treat people like that. I will never get KIA because of there way to treat to customer. More

He was just sitting the whole time of our deal with his supervisor, he never expressed his thoughts and he did nothing. We didnt even dealt with him for 15mins. - The floor manager, Pete Violi, was the one who did the negotiating with us. He was very welcoming and knows how to listen to what our heart's desires when it comes to terms and payments. As we reached the end of our conversation/deals, we just didnt agree. My husband and I agreed that we will reconsider and come back again supposedly the following week because Pete was very nice and listening to us as we express what we want. - Before we left, Tony came and DEMANDED us to sit down as he expressed his irritation about the figures we were asking from Pete. I told Tony that I have to go the restroom because it was a long discussion and I really need to pee. But Tony demanded me as well to sit down before I go to their restroom. (Don't I have the right to excuse myself first before I return to whatever conversation we are supposed to talk about?) As Tony's initial question which have firm tone of voice: "where on earth you got those prices, you are impossible, you tell me right now! you wasted my 2-3hours of discussing and you aren't getting anything?" My husband and I were composed to explain to him that it was a marital decision and agreed expenses, but he continued to insult us and kept insisting that we have to give him a proper excuse why we are not buying a car from their dealership. We continuously responded to him and said: "Tony, I believe you don't have the right to do this to us, my husband and I still need to talk about what we discussed with Pete at home and then we will call you." After we said this, we stood up and tried to hit the restroom because he held us for more than 20mins on this issue. - I saw Pete heading back to his office and I called his attention and I was freaking out already inside the dealership because I am badly insulted by his representative, Tony. I expressed my emotions and Pete promised me to do something about it. He sent Tony to his office as he continuously talked to me and my husband to pacify what Tony made us feel. We were furious as we leave the dealership. So my husband and I decided not to buy from them and never come back! Pete is a good personnel to talk to when it comes to Sales. He was honest, but his representative... he is questionable! He has a negative attitude! More

after I had signed for 2011 Sorento, they had increased my interest rate and ruined my credit after threatening me that if I didn't resign the contract with the increased rate. Of all the KIA dealers in Orange County (and we visited them all!) Garden Grove KIA didn't play the typical dealerships games, jacking up prices, playing good guy/bad guy games, trying to sell you what you them all!) Garden Grove KIA didn't play the typical dealerships games, jacking up prices, playing good guy/bad guy games, trying to sell you what you didn't want, etc. The other dealers ignored you, one KIA dealer had brochures that were 3 year old! Come on! And cobwebs and dusty buildings. John was our salesguy, no pressure, friendly, very knowledgable and no pressure. He let us stroll around for about an hour checking out all the models and colors. We settled on a 2011 KIA Sorento SX, and when it came time to sit down and negotiate, all he did was ask us what we wanted to pay, we already knew what was a good deal..and made a pretty low offer which included tax and license. He took it to the bass and we bought ourselves a KIA for around $2500.00 LESS that the other dealers prices! Color me happy! And if you haven't considered a KIA, be aware that this is not your grandpa's KIA! There are great looking, well built, powerful, smooth, full of features and loaded with value cars. J.D.Powers and many car magazines have praised the all new KIA's and awarded them a lot of awards for safety and the ton of standard equipment, as well as the new designs from the award winning German design guy who used to work for VW/Audi! The 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty is just icing on the cake! More
