Dealing with GUS RUIZ was by far the most pleasant and gratifying experience I have ever had when it has come to any sort of EXTREMELY SATISFIED. Dealing with GUS RUIZ was by far the most pleasant and gratifying experience I have ever had when it has come to any sort of business transaction, car related or not. I live in the capital region of NY State, which is a good 4-5 hours away from the dealership. Initially I was hesitant with trying to trade and purchase a vehicle from someone that far away because of all the factors involved. However, Gus made the transaction as smooth and seamless as he possibly could. Our first interaction was on a late Wednesday afternoon, on the phone. My partner was able to negotiate a fair price for my current vehicle over the phone and by sending pictures to be reviewed by Gus and his team. On Thursday a deal was established, Friday morning we were on our way to Long Island, and that afternoon I was out the door in my new (to-me) car. I highly doubt that anyone else has ever had such a smooth transaction. Gus was very honest and straight forward about what he could do and couldn’t and didn’t play the cat and mouse game with us. That is always commendably in a sales person. I also should add that we weren’t treated as though we were just another sale, he has a great mannerism to him that really leads you to believe you are important and that really helped us with deciding whether or not to take the drive down. It’s worth it if you see something you like at their dealership, I can attest to that. Even though I am hours away I have been singing his praise. Not only did he come through with the trade amount but also when he swore the car I was buying (that I hadn’t even seen in person) was in perfect shape, he wasn’t exaggerating at all. We were looking for the CX5 for the replacement of our 2010 Mazda 3 lease return.We also have a 2007 Mazda 3 which we were considering trading in. our salesperson Josh was very friendly and knowledgable. We discussed options and pricing. Josh and his staff were very helpful. We traded in the 2007 and left with a new CX5 and a Mazda 3 which were leased.We were very pleased with the dealership and personal. They went the extra mile to have both cars ready by the end of the day for pickup. When its time for them to be serviced, I hope the new facility will be ready with the same professionalism and courtesy I had with the sales department. More

I had been in the market for a new vehicle. Had looked at the VW Tiguan and Kia Sportage. Had given both a very serious look. After seeing a internet commercial on the new Mazda 6, I went to take a look at the VW Tiguan and Kia Sportage. Had given both a very serious look. After seeing a internet commercial on the new Mazda 6, I went to take a look at it. Saw the CX-5 and we very impressed by the amount of vehicle I got for the money, compaired to the VW and Kia. A few test drives along with the size of the vehicle convinced me that the Mazda CX-5 was a great buy. I went to two local Mazda dealers, which had given me very good deals, as far as I was concerned. I decided to take a trek to Garden City Mazda, which is a good 30 miles from my home, and was it worth it. First off, Joe Arena had been the most helpful sales associate that I have ever dealt with in all the years of buying cars. He made the process painless. When I went to go and pick up my new CX-5, the car was ready and Dennis Georgiades explained the product in such detail that when I left the dealership, I knew the vehicle as if I had been driving it for a while. Hands down, my experience had been so favorable that when it is time for me to purchase another new vehicle, I will not waste time going to other dealers. I will bring myself to Garden City Mazda first, because I know that I will get the best deal there. For the record, I never thought about a Mazda in all of my searches until I saw the ad for the Mazda 6. My visit to the local dealer here in Suffolk opened my eyes to how underrated Mazda's are. I was shopping for a new car and had been doing my homework on line and had narrowed my selection down to a few. I went to Garden City Mazda to have a look. Irv put me at ease immediately, no pressure, lots of info. When it came down to price, no "haggling". Irv went out of his way to make sure I got the car with all the bells and whistles I wanted. The finance department explained everything very well. I got a great deal, extended warranty and Irv even installed Pandora radio for me! About 2 weeks later my Pandora wasn't working correctly.. I stopped by Mazda and another salesman came to my car and fixed it! What service! I have a beautiful new CX-5 in red. It's a dream car!!! Thanks Garden City Mazda (and Irv of course). More

We made the the decision then to come back to buy/ lease the car for our daughter. After we left the dealership, we found out about the Costco Auto Buying program. We submitted our inquiry to Costco and saw that you participated. We were contacted by James Shust who identified himself as the Authorized Costco Agent at your dealership. When we came back, we HAD to lease the vehicle through him. We want to emphasize that our decision to come back was due to our positive experience with Henri. We hope that Henri gets some credit although he did not "make" the deal. More

I decide to but a Mazda Cx 5 which he gave me a great price on. When I came to pick up the car I was pretty emotional because I was trading my scion in I was more depressed then excited about getting a new car. Josh was totally understand and made me feel so much better about the whole thing. He was so helpful and took all the stress out of the buying experience. I left with my beautiful cx5 happy and excited the total opposite of how I walked in and it was all thanks to Josh!!! More

Following a reply to call for an appointment I did call and met with James Shust. He was exceptionally helpful and easy to talk with. I found myself buying a new CX-9 that very same day! My only disappointment is not seeing James on the roster list of sales-people for this review. He seemed to rise above any other dealer I had met there. More
