Our initial meeting on the showroom floor was by a salesperson who was very proactive; she asked if we needed help and when we said yes, she said she was busy but would send someone right over. We dealt with William who knew the details of the CX5 inside out and was very informed about all the options the vehicle came with. We found the perfect vehicle and negotiated a price we were comfortable with. There was some confusion with our paperwork since the showroom was busy and apparently their finance department took some time getting approval. We left with the car we wanted, which we love, but there were some issues with the paperwork that left us with a bad taste. When we addressed the problem, the management and sales team were quick to respond and did everything they could to make the situation right. They were professional, courteous and really cared about ensuring that we were happy with Garden City Mazda. Other dealerships are just trying to move cars and the customers are just dollar signs. At Garden City Mazda, they definitely care that their customers are happy when they leave. We LOVE our new CX5 and are very happy with how we were treated. We will definitely lease from them again. I had a great experience with this dealership.. My salesperson was Phil Tochterman. I originally came in to buy a 2016 CX-5 for myself and then wound up buying c CX-5 for my wife. I not only felt that he was just a salesperson but by the time we left the dealership I felt that he was a friend. He just is a consumate professional. He bent over backwards constantly and did a great job for us. He didnt sell us a car he helped us pick out one. I highly recommend this dealership and Phil Tochterman. Talks a good game but offers terrible deals Don't be seduced by the slick talkers. After you are all set, they send you in to talk to the finance guy and the special service ends. Prices jumps and extra charges pump up the charges. Don't consider your deal done until the finance guy speaks. He is so slimy you need a shower after talking with him. Don't think any deal you thought you had is final. Pressure is overwhelming since you already think you are driving away in the beautiful car sitting in the lot waiting for you. Of course the car will sell to someone else if you don't buy that day -- complete xx but you can walk away and go somewhere else and pay lots (thousands) less More
