There are two other dealerships we went to just to look at cars, because it’s my son’s obsession. Both of those locations were VERY close to my home in Massapequa Park, NY. Both locations gave me a hard time about him going in and out and I also felt like I was a waste of their time. Personal touches and personality goes a loooong way. I originally had a 2014 Mazda 3 Grand Touring which I brought in for service when I met Phil, we started talking and he mentioned that I can get a good price for my 2014 Mazda because of demand for that car, I was not in the market to purchase a new vehicle at that time and told him so, I then picked up my car and went home, I then started to think about our conversation when I decided to do a little research about the 2018 Mazda 3 Grand Touring and I worked out a price I was willing to sell my car versus what I was willing to pay for the new car and I called Phil, I told him I was going to be very fair for the both of us and gave him a price, he said he would get back to me within the hour to let me know I strictly told him no negotiation and the price is what I was willing to pay. Well he got back to me within the hour and said yes, I said again no negotiations he said yes, so I went back to Garden city Mazda met with Phil, everything went smoothly, and now I am in procession of a 2018 Mazda 3 Grand Touring and very happy with the car and George the manager the dealership and especially to Phil.
