Do not go to this dealership, absolutely terrible customer service and looking to scam their customers. My boyfriend and I went in looking at a certified preowned Mazda CX5 that we had found onli customer service and looking to scam their customers. My boyfriend and I went in looking at a certified preowned Mazda CX5 that we had found online. We were looking to trade in a current car and upgrade to the Mazda. Our current car was valued ~$4-$5K under the fair valuation that we had found on all online appraisal sites and, as noted by other reviews, there is an additional $2K fee on each of the car prices listed online which is "in the fine print" on their site. After speaking with our salesperson, John Boniello, were able to negotiate the offer to be a $12.5K difference between the trade in car and the Mazda CX5. John B had taken my credit card as he said we had a deal and was going to charge a $1K deposit for the car. The car currently did not have a title and he said they would receive the title in 1-2 weeks so the $1K would be to hold the car for us. After agreeing to the deal, John B's manager, John, came into the room and asked "what can we do to make this deal happen?" Obviously this was confusing to us as we had just handed over our card and agreed on a deal. John continued to negotiate saying $12.5K was not possible. It was also very apparent that he was only interested in speaking to my boyfriend as he did not make eye contact with me, a woman, at all despite my name being on the appointment and my card being the one about to be charged, still in John B's hand. They ultimately offered us $13K in which we said we were going to shop around and come back if we were still interested. We came back at 6pm when they were closing and said we would sign for $13K. John B once again took my card and was going to process the $1K deposit for now the second time. He came back and said the office was closed but to call first thing tomorrow morning and we'd get it processed. We called and texted first thing Sunday morning right when the dealership opened. John B did not return any of our calls or texts for several hours. Later in the afternoon he called back and told us the car is being sold to someone who put in a better offer. We asked him to clarify when this offer was put in as we were about to sign at closing the prior day and called right at opening this morning but he said "that is all my manager was able to tell me" then proceeded to tell my boyfriend and I it is our fault we did not sign earlier. Again, we had tried to pay 3 times at this point. Ultimately a terrible experience that has transparently turned us off on Mazda as a brand. Truly the definition of old school sleazy car salesmen. I had leased 2 Mazdas from this dealership, and with my lease ending I was back for a third. We were off to a very rocky start with a sales rep who would not hear anything I was saying, ignore me and push lease ending I was back for a third. We were off to a very rocky start with a sales rep who would not hear anything I was saying, ignore me and push forward his agenda. I was almost at the door, ready to leave and never come back, feeling that my time was being wasted. Manager Flavio Rodriguez stepped it and turned the whole experience around! He answered every question I had, worked me on all details about realistic price and timing. On closing day, everything was prepared and ready, there were no surprises and I was in and out in under 2 hours. Flavio handed me over to their Finance Manager Alejandro Ruiz, another amazing professional, who also went above and beyond to make up for the rocky start of the process, and this was the last drop that made me rate the dealership full 5 stars!
