I was helping my younger sister shop for a new car because my father is a tax accountant and in the middle of tax season where he is working at least 80 hours every week. We went into Garcia Honda to because my father is a tax accountant and in the middle of tax season where he is working at least 80 hours every week. We went into Garcia Honda to look at the 2013 accords. We found a car we wanted and negotiated a very reasonable price (We were told we were getting this price because we knew people in the service department). After my sister had a family discussion with my father she went in with him the next business day with 10k to put down on the car, which hadn't even hit the lot yet. There they were told that the price of the car had gone up by about $1,000! It was rediculous. After they said that they were not going to purchase it if they change the price at the last minute, they kept playing the "wait em out game" with my fathers valuable time and wouldn't give them a new offer. They said they would fax another offer the next day which they never did. I then went online and went to Costco's Auto program. I entered my information and within 30 minutes was given a no haggle price that was LESS than the original price we had negotiated. Needless to say we bought from somewhere besides Garcia Honda. What really made me upset is since I gave my contact information to Garcia Honda "Toby" Garcia started to email me and after I told him what happened, he started to argue and belittle me through email. It was completely unacceptable. I can't suggest enough for you not to go to Garcia Honda. More
I appreciated the exceptional friendliness of everyone at Garcia Honda. The atmosphere is welcoming and didn't feel like a service dept. at all. As much as I would like to return, I won't be able to- the cost of $57 is just too much for an oil change. I was not prepared for the expense. First, I was not looking to buy a new car - I was perfectly happy w/the one I had. I had taken my car in for a lube & oil & while I was waiting I walked the showroom. I discovered this gorgeous 2013 perfectly happy w/the one I had. I had taken my car in for a lube & oil & while I was waiting I walked the showroom. I discovered this gorgeous 2013 Civic that got even better gas mileage than the FIT (my car at the time); I was a bit floored. It was a much bigger car afterall! James came over & he and Phil began answering my questions. They actually found one for me to drive. Admittedly, I was hooked after that. The drive was smooth & quiet; the car handled like a dream! Phil & James went out of their way to make sure the price was right (actually, the offer was one that could not be passed - it was that good!) and everything was ready on time as discussed. I had a great experience buying through this dealer & I will always buy from them! More
Several years ago we bought a car from Garcia Honda: we knew exactly what we wanted, worked directly with Toby Garcia (the General Manager) and had a great purchase experience. Fast forward to the present: This time we had to make several visits to research and test drive a few different models. We kept getting directed to different sales persons and Monica (the Sales Manager) kept interfering with our interactions. We finally decided what we wanted, put down a deposit and waited eight weeks. When the car arrived and we went in to buy it the paperwork process was terrible! Despite having our own existing insurance and paying in full in cash the dealership wanted us to sign papers to: transfer our insurance to American Honda, make Garcia Honda the loss payee, agree to letting them run a credit report, and partially fill out and sign a credit application. We strongly felt that either the dealer was dishonest or its paperwork was sloppy. In any case we almost walked out several times during the process because it just wasn't making sense. We almost couldn't believe it when we finally got to the purchase agreement and the total was exactly what we'd committed to when we put down the deposit. In any case we intend never to shop here again. More

Garcia Honda Used Cars. They have demonstrated to me that the old saying "Never trust a used car salesman" is still true. I purchased a used Ford pickup truck from them. The salesman was good and the deal on the vehicle seemed great. The truck had several medium and small issues. The dealer had agreed to fix them. One issue that upsets me is that the battery was bad in the truck and they knew it. They agreed to put a new battery in it. Well, a couple weeks later the battery was dead again and when I went to jump the truck, I saw that instead of a new battery they had put in a used battery which now was bad also. Another was how strongly they emphasized that they check everything and change all the fluids and such. When I took the vehicle to my mechanic to check the balance of the tires, two of the rims were very bent; the dealer will not do anything about that. The mechanic also found that the brake fluid was fouled, the radiator fluid was brown, the transmission fluid was almost black and smelled burnt, and the air filter was completely coated in grease and dirt. Checking everything out and cleaning out and changing all the fluids cost me nearly $1000. That does not include doing anything about the bent rims. The truck is also missing the spare tire and they still have not gotten me one. As I said, they refused to do anything about any of it and provided me with a copy of the check list that their mechanic completed on the vehicle to check it out. They only checked things that were purely safety related; and, it is pretty apparent that the mechanic just marked all the check marks at one time; you can tell when someone just runs down a list making the marks. So, even though all are marked I do not have trust that each item was really checked. This is not a one time type of thing and so if you get a vehicle from them you can expect to be taking a chance as well. I just will never buy another from them and I would recommend not buying from them. More

They were cheerful and energetic throughout the process, and this all happened on a day when they were busy and I showed up at the end of the day. More
