Lies and deception We love Hondas and have bought a car from Garcia Honda 7 years ago. This time the salesman LIED about how many cars they had on the lot. He told us "this is the last one and they have sold fast. If you walk out the door I cannot guarantee that it will be here when you get back. Why don't you just commit now." When we went back a few days later we were told by another person that there was at least two others on the lot. In addition, when we went back the financial person changed the pricing offer. He told us he could help us with pricing and then just added in to the pitcher anything we asked for, not giving us any of the deals he had promised (and the salesman had written down) the day before. Really shady and high pressure. More
Awful sale A couple weeks ago I was traveling to Arizona from Alabama for vacation in my older Honda model , to keep it short my car had engine failures so I de A couple weeks ago I was traveling to Arizona from Alabama for vacation in my older Honda model , to keep it short my car had engine failures so I decided I will need an emergency upgrade while passing thru, upon arrival I was not greeted or payed attention waited about an hour to finally speak to somebody, they gave me a lowball offer of 300 for my trade in without checking my car , they wouldn’t help me finance a car that was 23k with a 20,000 down payment imagine that , couldn’t even negotiated a cash price to help someone in need , they wouldn’t believe I had that kind of cash , kept taking smoke breaks on me pretending they was discussing my financial status , I had no choice but to go to my bank and get a cashiers check of the 23k , once they seen the money was on the way with the help of one of their Errand boys that called it in.... the whole experience was just awful if it weren’t for the situation I was in and that the time ran out on me I wouldvw never bought a car here or with the salesmen that took care of my sale More
Outstanding, Personalized Service My 2000 Garcia Honda CR-V was recently rear-ended and converted into a total loss. After 18 years of Garcia Honda's service for this car, I decided to My 2000 Garcia Honda CR-V was recently rear-ended and converted into a total loss. After 18 years of Garcia Honda's service for this car, I decided to get another CR-V there, unless another model would be more appropriate for me, as well as my wife. Cary Carr greeted us as we were inspecting the cars in the outside lot and introduced himself. We appreciated his low-keyed demeanor as he provided very informative answers to all our questions. He knew what was in their inventory, knew the differences, attributes and options for each year's models. After an extensive discussion, we focused on a CR-V that appeared to provide us with the features and options that we wanted. Prior to the test drive, Cary showed us the locations of various features, explained their function and, when requested, demonstrated their function. I then asked Cary if he would accompany me on the test drive so that I could ask him questions that could be dealt with more appropriately in a moving car. This included a short stop in a park lot where Cary was able to talk me through the proper usage of the rear view camera. After this most-appreciated test drive, we returned to the sales office and, a short while later, I purchased the CR-V. We were extremely pleased with the consideration, and quality of care that Cary provided, combined with his genuine interest in making certain that our continued satisfaction with our purchase is assured. He makes himself readily available, even after the sale. I have purchased cars in Connecticut and California, before moving to Albuquerque, but have never had the unexpected pleasure that Cary engendered during his service to us.
