I had a couple of minor issues (the vehicle is used after all) and the service dept. is terrific. They are polite, clean facility and took it in and fixed it right away, no charge. I highly recommend Anthony and Garber. More
Unfortunately I feel I should revise my previous 5 star review because while the experience of purchasing my car at Garber Subaru was excellent, there have been significant issues since the initial purchas review because while the experience of purchasing my car at Garber Subaru was excellent, there have been significant issues since the initial purchase. It’s been 3.5 months since I purchased a new car from them and I still have not received the title or registration for the car. My best guess is that Garber switched the information for my car and someone else’s, since according to the DMV and my insurance company, my registration is associated with a different car and different individual. I understand that mistakes happen, but the process of trying to get this fixed has been frustrating. My insurance company was the one who initially caught the mistake, and I had to inform Garber there was a problem - twice, in the case of the title. I had to reach out multiple times, to multiple people, via both phone and email over the course of nearly 2 weeks before I got a response beyond “we’re looking into it and will get back to you”, after which I wouldn’t hear back until the next time I reached out. I still haven’t gotten any answer on what happened with the title that was sent to some other individual and whether or not I need to be concerned about that, although I have asked at least twice. I understand that likely part of the reason it has been 6+ weeks since I informed Garber of the issues and I still haven’t received my paperwork is due to processing times at the DMV, but there has been seemingly no urgency on Garber’s part throughout the entire process. Beyond the initial mistake, it has been quite stressful to get so little response or information relating to such a large purchase, and I’ve invested a significant amount of time trying to figure this issue out with Garber, the DMV, and my insurance company. I am hesitant to use the car since I am at a very real risk of being ticketed or worse for not having the proper paperwork for a vehicle I bought 3.5 months ago. More
It was our first time buying a Subaru ever. We had a Nissan. The service was exceptional and they beat a competitors price. They spent an hour going over the car when we picked it up.
