I usually have a way of feeling ppl, wether they are phony or natural customer service ppl. When we walked in my husband asked for Charlie, Dan told us he had just left, and that he could help us. We were kinda hesitant because my husband's friend recommended someone else. But we or he decided we would go ahead and accept his help! I am glad we did. He was so nice, and it was almost as if we knew eachother already. He was very pleasant, and easy to talk to, and he was a good listener which is a plus for us. We were so happy, because he made the transaction easy, he was even teaching us things we didn't know! In reality my husband and I was just looking and we really weren't going to buy a car......we just wanted to get a basic idea of what we were going to buy when it was time........ but Dan had this spark like "you guys are not leaving until I can make you happy!" He found what I wanted in a price range that made my husband happy! Dan was sweet and agressive at the same time, he had the payments all set up, and still made sure we were happy. U can tell when a person love his job..........because they do it so well, and u can see the genuineness in their eyes, and in the way the person present themselves and in their speech. I am happy he didn't. ....... but Dan could have sold us a lemon. He was great. And if anyone talks to me about buying a car.....I am definitely going to recommend Garber and I am going to tell them ask for Dan!. More
An on-line search for a specific new-to-me vehicle led me to the Garber Pre-owned Super Center. My interest was fueled by a comprehensive portfolio of the vehicle, access to the vehicles car fax, and pricing to the Garber Pre-owned Super Center. My initial inquiry was conducted via e-mail. The response received was both prompt and personal, and included a beaming portrait of the responding sales consultant (a nice touch, being able to put a face to a name) - that's where I first met Rose. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was immediately greeted by a number welcoming dealership representatives. Their professional attire and personable demeanor left no question as to who was affiliated with Garber and who was shopping. Upon meeting with Rose in person, I was extended the same inviting courtesies including that same beaming smile and firm hand embrace. She seemed genuinely pleased that I was there, and eager to help end my search for a vehicle. Unpressured, we took our time inspecting the vehicle of interest. Rose's experience was exemplified by her ability to walk me around and through the vehicle, highlighting various appointments that were of interest. Questions were welcomed, never deflected, and answered intelligently. We took the vehicle for a suitable test drive that enabled getting a good feel for how the vehicle handled in both city and highway driving conditions. As our conversation surrounding the vehicle continued it began to mature into a discussion seemingly between friends rather than mere acquaintances from just minutes prior. We returned to the dealership to close the deal. The atmosphere was clean, open, and comfortable. There was an air of 'team' amongst the associates, as well as a perception of enjoyment for what they do. Rose remained my handler through the entire process, never once handing me off to someone else. As we worked through the details of the purchase Rose managed all of the formalities effortlessly, while continuing to express genuine concern for my satisfaction. Rose definately made this a painless and pleasant buying experience. Thank you! Garber has a selection that's appealing to every appetite. The associates host an atmosphere that's inviting, and an experience that's hassle-free. If you're in the market for a new-to-you ride, Garber is a great place to kick off the search! More

Went to Garber to look at Honda CRV's. Everyone we know that has one has raved about them. Dan showed us several, we drove a couple, and selected the one my wife liked best (we would have done that an know that has one has raved about them. When we discovered that it was certified (it didn't have a sticker), the deal was done. Dan was great. No hard pressure sales tactics AT ALL; not like dealers and salesmen I've encountered in the past. Dan took care of every detail, had my minor complaint with the brakes fixed, and we couldn't be happier. Well, I guess $5000 off the price would make us happier, but what we paid was at least fair, and we felt like there was some kind of bargain in there. Altogether, a great experience. We'd recommend Garber, and certainly Dan, to anyone looking for a car. More
