As a long time and loyal Garber Honda customer, I was disappointed that the service department wasn't able to save any $$$ on my recent repairs to my 2014 Pilot. The repair bill quickly added up to near disappointed that the service department wasn't able to save any $$$ on my recent repairs to my 2014 Pilot. The repair bill quickly added up to nearly $1,200 and I asked if there was any way that they could work with me on the price, offer any discount, or find a way to make the repairs less costly. I was met with a stern "no" and was told the vehicle wouldn't pass inspection in August if the repairs weren't made. I reluctantly gave my approval of the repair and sent a text expressing my disappointment and that this experience has caused you to lose a long-term customer. The text went un-responded to and there was no conversation about this when I picked the vehicle up. More
Car was serviced quickly. Oil was left in skid plate on the underside of the car so it was leaking on the garage and had to be cleaned out when I got it home. I didn't bother bringing it back to the dealership. Service person was not knowledgeable and unable to properly answer my question about when to get my next oil change. I was instructed that while the oil changes were still covered at no charge I should wait until the light came on but once they were no longer covered I really should bring the car in every 7 k miles because the car won't operate properly. I should not pay attention to the light or percent oil life after the free oil changes were done. I'm sure he's helped to increase revenue for the service department for people foolish enough to listen to him. More
