Jason listened to what I was looking for, helped me through the process of finding exactly what I wanted, explained everything clearly and honestly, and in the end I got everything I wanted at a fair price. Garber is a beautiful place with great facilities, everybody there is very pro-customer, ready to help, friendly and sincere. From the moment I walked in it was obvious this was a place dedicated to provide outstanding sales and service. From the well-laid out building including the sales areas, service areas, waiting areas to the outside acres of cars it's obvious Garber is doing everything possible to make car buying and servicing a pleasant experience. Absolute Worst Customer Service I live in St Augustine, FL and was shopping for a new Ford F-150 truck to lease. I started with trying to make a deal with our local dealership but, I live in St Augustine, FL and was shopping for a new Ford F-150 truck to lease. I started with trying to make a deal with our local dealership but, unfortunately, that did not work out. In fact, they actually told me I couldn’t lease a Ford truck because the residuals were too high and that I would have to buy one on an 84-month purchase. I have never kept any vehicle for more than three years and had no interest in an 84-month purchase. The actual vehicle I wanted was at a dealership in Orlando, FL and was the vehicle we were working the deal on. I then called Garber Ford and made a fairly good lease deal with the salesperson. I then called back the local dealership to tell them what Garber Ford was offering me on a lease since they had told me I couldn’t lease one. They took the numbers and shortly thereafter I received a call from a new car manager telling me that if I could get that deal, take it, because he couldn’t do it and didn’t believe Garber could either. I reached back out to Garber to verify the number before I went over there and was assured they were accurate. The deal was a 36-month lease for $562.50 + $36.56 tax for a total of $599.06, with $1151.00 down. Since the new car manager at my local dealership told me to take it because he couldn’t do it, I made an appointment to go in and get the deal. Unfortunately, I ended up in the ER on that day and was unable to make the appointment. I emailed my salesperson at Garber Ford to let him know I would be later than originally planned and he assured me the numbers we agreed to were still good. Shortly thereafter, I received an email from the new car manager at Garber Ford telling me he was going to have that vehicle on his lot the next day. However; he was now saying the total price was going up by about $4000.00, they changed from giving me $28,500 for my trade down to $26,000.00, the down payment went up to $1225.00, and the lease payment went up to $632.00 + $44.00 tax for a total of $676.00 per month. He was also very rude about it and basically told me to take it or leave it. This is not how you treat customers at all, and they lost the deal with me as a result. I actually ended up going to Sun State Ford in Orlando the next day, after making a deal over the phone with them the night before. They stuck to their word and turned out to be the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in 54 years. As it turns out, Garber Ford is actually the worst dealership I have dealt with in 54 years. They, in my opinion, have no idea what Customer Service means and didn’t care about me personally at all. In contrast, my salesperson from Sun State Ford actually called me to ensure my wife and I had made it home to St Augustine safely from Orlando. Not only that, he still calls to ensure we are happy with our vehicle and that all is well. More

Service pulled a sensor plug to make an engine light and trs I went to get an oil change. ( Outraageous price). Tina tried to sell me a $1000 service. I am a 73 year old woman. When I picked up the car I now had check engine light on. I went back to Garber and Paul came to check it. The mechanic ran out and plugged the sensor back in. Lights went away. There was no reason to unplug the sensor for an oil change More
