Heating issues resolved Bought a jeep compass at Garavel and got quite a good mileage on it before overheating became the first and so far only issue with this car. I brought Bought a jeep compass at Garavel and got quite a good mileage on it before overheating became the first and so far only issue with this car. I brought the car in a first time and the dealership changed the thermostats at my expense. This did not resolve the issue, which was hard to detect as it only came up after driving long distances. The next time the radiator cap was exchanged, which was suspected to be not sealing right. Also this did not fix the issue. The service department then took more or less the whole motor apart to find cracks in the cylinder head, which was replaced under warranty and the car drives like new since then. Kudos for stepping up, being persistent and resolving this issue. Thanks to the Garavel team. More
