I have purchased/leased at least 30 vechiles in my life for myself or my clients as their advisor. I can say without hesitation that my experience with Doug Tulloch of Garavel Jeep in Norwalk Connecticut was by far the most professional and pleasurable (never thought I would use that adjective when describing the process of purchasing a new car) experience I have ever had. Doug has a very friendly but at the same time professional manner. He was knowlegable about the product and I never once felt like he was trying to sell me the car, but rather he was listening and helping me get what I needed. Three other of Doug's characteristics that made my experience pleasurable was his enthusiastic can do attitude, his transparency (being upfront and clear - - no nonsense) and his lightening quick responses to my e-mails or other requests. As an example, I called Doug about a very minor question about the appearance of the mirrors the Jeep I was considering. The Jeep was parked on the far side of a very big lot. Without hesitation he told me to hold on while he ran over to check it out. Customer sevice seems to be a lost art. There are too many businesses that treat their clients with disregard. Doug gets it! He is competent, friendly, responsive and unfortunately the type of person you don't run into more often. Do yourself a favor and ask for Doug! Tremendous Experience I was having problems with my 2004 Jeep Limited overheating. After explaining the situation to Nick, we set up an appointment for the next day, this I was having problems with my 2004 Jeep Limited overheating. After explaining the situation to Nick, we set up an appointment for the next day, this past Tuesday. When I arrived I was greeted by Nick who said welcome to the family, I felt very comfortable. I then sat down with Keith who wrote up the service request. He was knowledgeable, helpful in explaining what was going to be done, and very efficient, the whole process took less than five minutes. What was impressive was the service area had enough writers that no one had to wait too long. Keith also took care of a recall item with great ease. They then provided a courtesy ride to my home. The jeep was promised to be ready by three, and at two I received a call that the jeep was fixed and ready to be picked up. When I arrived, Nick explained what the recall was about, and I appreciated that. Again, upon arriving, paying and leaving all took less than five minutes. We previously went out of our way to take our jeeps back to White Plains jeep where be purchased them for service. Both service departments do quality work, and this one is much closer, so we are converted. When needed, since they set such a high standard, I will hold them to that, and look forward to my next service. Thanks, Joe More

Service I was very impressed with the Service Dept at Garavel. I called on Saturday with a check engine light indicator. I spoke to Nick on the phone who then I was very impressed with the Service Dept at Garavel. I called on Saturday with a check engine light indicator. I spoke to Nick on the phone who then told me I could bring it in same day and they would diagnose the issue. I was in and out within an hour with the issue identified and corrected! I appreciate the Saturday service hours as it would be too difficult to get in during the week. Overall, between sales and service, I could not be happier. More

I stopped by this dealership with a specific car in mind and while I was out on the lot examining it, Karl came out to greet me. A quick test drive followed by a pretty standard negotiation on the price of the car, along with the valuation of a couple of trade-ins, had me out the door within three hours. Pick up of the car took a bit longer than I would have preferred, but overall, I was pleased with the overall process. Karl was very accommodating. More

OUTSTANDING service with INCREDIBLE staff! I visited Norwalk Jeep to get my Grand Cherokee serviced in May 2014. The service was top notch. I was greeted the moment I walked in. The waiting area is very comfortable with TV and light snacks/coffee. Ray Hernandez performed a great service while Mark and Keith kindly assisted me with check out. Overall Good Service But Communication Could Be Better Garavel called me up to take back my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee lease. I told them I was interested in the Cherokee. I originally wanted a base model, Garavel called me up to take back my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee lease. I told them I was interested in the Cherokee. I originally wanted a base model, but my wife fell in love with a souped up version. They gave me a price on the souped up version which I agreed to, but when I went back, they told me that in fact the souped up version they showed me didn't have all the options they said. They didn't have the one I wanted so they ordered me a new one and said they would do their best to match the price they originally quoted me for a souped up version. When the car came in it was over by like $1.50, so kudos for standing by what they said. My only issue is that there were many times I would call and leave a message for the salesman and never get a call back. A few times I had to call and speak to someone else telling them that I could not get the salesman to call me back. This is definitely something that needs to be worked on, but I am overall happy with the experience as we got a nice car for a good price. More
Excellent Service We came to the Garavel dealership after visiting the Greenwich Jeep dealership and Greenwich dealership on 5/8. We had pretty much narrowed our search We came to the Garavel dealership after visiting the Greenwich Jeep dealership and Greenwich dealership on 5/8. We had pretty much narrowed our search down to a Audi Q5 and Grand Cherokee Altitude. After visiting the Jeep dealership we knew we liked the Grand Cherokee but they didn't have the altitude in stock and we were told that they would be coming in next week. We went to Garavel because we saw they had one in stock. Once we got to Garavel and was introduced to Doug we quickly found out that the Altitude was there but it was already sold. Doug still was able to show us the Altitude and said more should be coming in next week. Even though the car was already sold we fell in love with the car and Doug was able to sense that. Doug displayed great customer service showing us similar models and suggest we test drove some of those. Doug did a great job selling us our car and helping us realize the Jeep was our pick! Having been at the Greenwich dealership we were able to compare the service and Doug surpassed any service we received at the other dealership. I remember my boyfriend looking over at me and saying "he's a good salesman". Leaving the Garavel dealership we were disappointed there weren't anymore Altitudes in stock but Doug assured us that our car would be there monday or tuesday. Doug was able to convince us to put down a $500 deposit on our new car! We were really excited and appreciative of Doug's service. We got a call that Saturday 5/10 saying that our car came in and would be ready on Monday. On Monday we went in and picked up our car. We were really thankful to have Doug assisting us making sure we got the car we wanted and so quickly. Before Garavel and Doug's service we knew we liked the Altitude but after exceptional service we fell in love with our car and couldn't be happier with our decision. More
