The process went better than others I had had done face to face for prior cars. I was treated respectfully and courteously at all times and I felt comfortable from the very beginning. Great Buying Experience Absolutely the Best!!! From the first time I stopped in to browse the Volvo model I had seen on the street I was greeted by Manny Hovanesian who show Absolutely the Best!!! From the first time I stopped in to browse the Volvo model I had seen on the street I was greeted by Manny Hovanesian who showed me around and with no pressure we looked at a few vehicles for my needs. Still indecisive I came back again and Manny connected me with Lawrence Ervits, I can say they both took very good care of me and helping me through the big decision of buying a new car. Both made me feel like family and the dealership also very clean and calm. My final choice was the XC60 and I couldn't be happier, Lawrence took me through the checklists and process of seeing finance team and then he showed me all the key items in my new car. Very happy and excited customer and I'll be back to visit when it comes times for service or perhaps just to say hello. More
Don't buy a Volvo, they melt So unbelievably disappointed with Volvo and I unfortunately received zero help from Galpin service regarding my wife's XC90. I'm sorry, let me correct So unbelievably disappointed with Volvo and I unfortunately received zero help from Galpin service regarding my wife's XC90. I'm sorry, let me correct that. The service department handed me a phone number to Volvo corporate so I suppose that was helpful. My wife drives a 2010 XC90. It is in the garage half of the time and only has 82,000 miles on it. I recently noticed that the weather stripping at the bottom of the windows on the exterior of the car was deteriorating, quite literally melting into this black goo that gets on everything if you touch it. Now i have a 99 C70 that has parked outside in the sun for the last 15 years and no problem there. Must be a defective batch of stripping right? Well according to Volvo its apologies only because the car is out of warranty so I guess we should not expect our Volvos to make it to 7 years/100,000 miles any longer. Sad that Volvo will not stand behind their product. Cancelling my overseas delivery of my wife's new XC90. Super bummed because it is a great looking car but I guess its all looks. More
An eye opening experience Positive Car adventure Before arriving at Galpin Volvo, we had visited several Volvo dealerships, (NIGHTMARE), gone on line, etc! Driving onto the parking section of Galp Before arriving at Galpin Volvo, we had visited several Volvo dealerships, (NIGHTMARE), gone on line, etc! Driving onto the parking section of Galpin Volvo...Wow, plenty of parking! Walking into the Galpin Volvo building was awesome! Richard Molina, "a very special Volvo specialist" greeted and welcomed us with a sincere caring demeanor. He is professional, knowledgeable, a great listener and representative of the Galpin Business. Richard was patient, answered all questions clearly. During our fact finding due-diligence discussion/communication he educated and enlightened us on the features and value of owning a Volvo. Richard shared that he was not there "just to sell us a car", more than that; to create an experience that would build life long customer confidence and loyalty! Our experience was pleasant, informative, welcoming and sincere. From the receptionists, other salespersons, to being introductions to administration. Tony, "the special Finance guy", helped us lower our affective filter, by speaking to us in a welcoming tone and demeanor. He answered all our questions clearly and informed us of our options. We really appreciated being told that if we needed assistance, we could call Richard or Tony! (There wasn't the "We sold you a car, you're on your own!") It was we are here to help you... We feel so confident and pleased with our purchase, we are letting our friends and family know about the "Galpin experience". Thank you all! God Bless you all! PS.
