We recently purchase our 2nd Volvo from Galpin Volvo in Van Nuys and our experience was nothing but OUTSTANDING!!! Henrik Einfeldt the salesman that graciously introduced himself to us offering his help wi Van Nuys and our experience was nothing but OUTSTANDING!!! Henrik Einfeldt the salesman that graciously introduced himself to us offering his help with any Volvo knows his Volvos like the palm of his hands, but of course, he is from where my Volvo was made. He was instrumental in helping us make our decision easier since we were looking to trade our XC90 into a new one... couple of hours after we first met, we were signing paper for our new XC60. Without Henrik's help, I don't think we would have trade our XC90 so fast. Henrik was helpful then and has continue been there for me to answer any questions regarding my new XC60!!! So, if you are in the marker for a new Volvo and don't want the "car salesman pressure" go to Galpin Volvo and ask for Henrik, he will help you make the right decision with the right car for you. Galpin Volvo provided the most positive dealer experience that I have had in over 30 years of purchasing new cars. Our salesperson, Robert Katch, was exceptional. We purchased a Volvo XC60 and received excellent pricing with a minimum of haggling. We also appreciated the very helpful assistance of others at the dealership, including Jeff Skobin, David Choi, and Todd Kessler. I would definitely purchase another car from Robert Katch and recommend the Galpin Volvo dealership highly to others. More
I called on the phone and Greg Lee was very friendly and made me feel Welcome to come in at the last minute to purchase my new 2012 Volvo S60 T5. Greg Lee also introduce me to Fred Jorjani and other salespersons on his team. Fred was very knowledgeable and helped me and my friend feel comfortable. He also help me to make the purchase and should be awarded. Fred provided orientation of the car as Greg Lee provided orientation information. Valerie Teplitsky, stayed over and assist me with the paperwork and made me and my friend feel comfortable and answered questions. Eric Ragland is an excellent sales manager and worked out a excellent deal for me to purchase the car without trading in my car. I was able to keep my car and drive off in a volvo. Also, Greg Lee and Fred Jorjani, made sure my friend and I were very much hydrated with the Starbucks each time we came in to visit the Volvo up to when I drove the car off the Volvo Lot. Eric Ragland gave me and my friend the opportunity to eat at Galpin's Resturaunt on the house. I would refer more customers to Galpin as they are wanting to sale their car and make an excellent deal to meet your money budget. I had visited Galpin Motors about 1 year ago to inquire about trading my Jaguar in for a newer vehicle. At that time I decided to wait and not do the trade-in because I was absolutely in love with my car. about trading my Jaguar in for a newer vehicle. One year later my wonderful car had close to 200,000 miles on it and I decided to contact Galpin again. I called that morning to schedule an appt. for the afternoon. When I got there I was not sure what type of Vehicle I was in the market for. I met with a salesperson who was very helpful but, ended up with another one who was absolutely fantastic. Since I am terrible with names I will have to call him by his first name Frederick(Denmark). He was without a doubt the most patient and helpful car salesperson I have ever worked with. Anyone knows that when you purchase a large ticket item you usually have to be on guard and somewhat defensive when dealing with car sales representative. With Frederick it was exactly the opposite he made a normally stressful situation a very unstressful and dare I say even pleasant. Something I have never experienced when purchasing a car. When I received my vehicle he was kind enough to empty the contents of my old car and put them in my new car. That was unbelievable!! I highly recommend anyone purchasing a car from Galpin Jaguar to make sure you call and ask for Frederick(Mr. Denmark) he will definately make sure you get a great car at a great price!!!! More

I would highly recommend Galpin Volvo Dealership. This was one of the best if not the best Car purchase experience we have ever had. They were very knowledgeable and helpful before, during, and after the lease process. The best I have ever dealt with for such a process. My daughter and I had the distinct pleasure of visiting this dealership on Saturday, March 17, 2012 to purchase a 2011 Volvo S40 for her. It was the third dealership we had visited that day. Our first two visits did not go very well - Culver City Volvo and Beverly Hills Audi. The issue surrounded her trade-in (2006 GMC Envoy) which had a "Branded Title" through no fault of her own - it seems the California DMV did not register the mileage when she moved here from Tampa, Florida. The sales manager at Culver City Volvo did not even have the courtesy of seeing us personally and dismissed us through our sales representative - UNBELIEVABLE! The folks at Audi were more professional but the end result was the same. Enter Galpin Volvo - I will begin by telling you that the Sales Manager Arie Waiserman and our Salesman Ken Johnson are the epitome of professionalism. Mr. Waiserman warmly welcomed us into his office and FULLY explained the issue with the branded title. He completely understood my frustration and assured me that we would make a deal that would work for everyone. He genuinely felt that we should not be punished for someone else's mistake. He gave us over 30% more for our trade-in and also extended a generous discount on the vehicle we purchased. In the end, we felt very good about the transaction and my beautiful daughter was elated. Ken Johnson was not a salesman - he was a business partner working with us to accomplish a goal - mutual satisfaction in consummating a transaction. He is BY FAR the BEST car salesman I have EVER dealt with in my 55 years. As for Mr. Waiserman - he may have missed his calling - the only thing he does better than being a Sales Manager is that he is a bonafide entertainer. He had my daughter and I mesmerized with his personality - he had us laughing quite a bit. Having my daughter live across the country from me is very stressful. I came to LA to help her with her car purchase. Imagine my relief to know that I leave her in VERY good hands with this dealership on her future visits for service. Mr. Waiserman and Mr. Johnson even gave her their personal cell numbers and told her to call ahead and they will personally see to it that she is well taken care of - above and beyond the call of duty. In conclusion - this has been the BEST experience I have EVER had in purchasing a car - THANK YOU and may God bless you all !!! More

He made me feel comfortable and was attentive to my needs, down to providing snacks and Starbucks coffee! Given my recent experiences with Galpin, in particular Steve Rodgers, there was no way I could not give the world notice! I've purchased over 25 cars in the past 10 years, mostly high-line Mercedes, BMW's, Lexus, etc. and have never had such a pleasant, easy and professional experience as I did with Galpin Volvo. It is strange to even fathom that a Volvo dealership could provide a better experience than some that I have been lucky enough to experience, but here's the deal...Steve is a pro! Through a few phone calls and text messages we were able to make a deal over the phone, come in...test drive the car and be out within 3 hours. Thinking back on it, the most stressful, and time consuming part the test drive...probably because it became an extended one. With Steve's help, Galpin beat any deal we could find. So, price was covered. There was absolutely no pressure! Steve laid out the entire process before anything was signed or agreed to. Each step was described with detail and he had everything done behind the scenes to ensure a quick turnaround time. He is no typical salesman, I promise you! While the car was being detailed, he helped explain some of the features of the car, walked us through the maintenance, introduced us to a service writer, helped lower our auto insurance, on and on. If there were more like Steve, the car salesman stigma would no longer exist. I felt compelled to leave feedback because it was well deserved. Perhaps the most surprising part of all of this is that he extended this for a friend of mine. I strongly suggest you visit Galpin, particularly Steve with any car inquiry: Ford to Aston Martin...you'll thank your lucky stars you did. More
Went in for service on my 2006 Volvo S40 (which I loved) and ended up buying a 2012 Volvo S60 from Peter Lieberman. Nice looking place, serves great to calm the rage of getting ripped off. Had a check engine light on my 01 S60, diagnostic was $172... but none of that goes toward repair. The manager refused to budge on putting the diagnostic fee towards repair or to compete with the other local dealerships lower prices.
