I was out running errands last Friday, and ended up at Galpin Volkswagen to drop something off to a friend. As it was my last stop of the day, I inquired about the commercial deals I was seeing on TV ab Galpin Volkswagen to drop something off to a friend. Something like NO money down, NOTHING due at signing, NO first month payment, ZERO % APR..... Keep in mind, I was not actually in the market to purchase a new car. But was simply curious about the possibilities of being able to get in to one. I mean, who wouldn't like a brand new car? I was introduced to Moe Ghaffari. A certified sales consultant. He sat down with me to help me find out which model would best fit my needs. He took some information from me, to enable him to evaluate my credit history. He then suggested that i take a look at the Jetta. We walked out on the lot, and he showed me 3 Jetta models with various options and pricing. I liked the 2nd level. One step up from Base Model, and one below full bells and whistles. We took the car for a test drive. He was a gracious co-pilot (even on the freeway with me driving!), and never displayed nervousness or fear! (Although I AM a good driver - Thanks Moe!) When we returned to the dealership, he got approval to accept my van for a bit of trade-in value. Let me just say that Moe was patient and kind. Knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, understanding, professional, and totally committed in seeing me leave the dealership that day in a brand new car. As the reality of that was beginning to sink in....I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I so appreciated all the time and effort that Moe had given me, but had to let him know that I was NOT in a position that day to be signing any contracts for a new or leased vehicle. He was understanding of my situation, and went to his sales manager to print out the various FINANCE ALTERNATIVES and LEASE OPTIONS that we had discussed. He sent me home with a print out of all that information, for me to review at my leisure. Before I left the dealership that evening, I reminded Moe that it was because I happened to end up at Galpin Volkswagen that day (after running my errands), was the reason I was inquiring about VW's. The Galpin Family of Dealerships has so many car lines to choose from. I'm thinking that Mazda and maybe Ford may be something to check out also. Was glad to know that whatever I choose to look at, that Moe CAN and WILL be my salesperson of choice. For any car line on a Galpin lot. That is a big selling point for this girl!! It looks like the ball is now in my court. Time for this girl to do her homework. (Compare Mazda vs Ford vs VW....and see what I believe would fit my needs and appeal to me) The next time I see Moe, I will be more informed and knowledgeable about the choices I want to pursue. And I anticipate that Moe will be for me, ready, willing and able. Thank you Moe....for making me want to come back and see you again! And Merry Christmas!! More

My wife and I recently moved to California, and shortly after arriving we traded her Odyssey for a new CR-V at Galpin Honda. Nick Levin was the first to respond to my inquiry, and after trading a few emails, he gave me a quote at invoice. As we had such a good experience at a Galpin dealership previously, I drove out this weekend to see what they had and to take a test drive. Nick was with another customer when I arrived, so he introduced me to Adrian Torres, who spent quite a bit of time with me showing me their current inventory, doing the test drive, etc. He even chatted and played with my 6 year old daughter, which made her day! I asked to get financial information on both the SE with Sunroof and Nav that they had, as well as an SEL that they didn't, as well as a trade-in quote on my 2010 Subaru Outback. Past experience with other dealerships has made me skeptical, and I was ready for the price negotiations! Imagine my surprise when their first offer was at invoice for the car and above black book for my trade! I decided I wanted the SEL - a few minutes later they located one in Santa Monica. Nick drove down to get it, and we finished the transaction a few hours later. Vicky Moreno in the finance office was very easy to work with - I made it pretty clear that I wasn't interested in add-ons, so very little pressure to buy extras, and we wrapped up in no time at all. Bottom line - this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had - no BS, no games, no pressure. Bravo, Galpin VW - I will heartily recommend you to anyone I know in the market for a car, and I'll be back when it's time for the next one. Moe spend a good chunk of the morning with me when I looked at getting the 2013 VW Passat. What really sold me though, was that I was trading a lease I had on a Mazda 3 early, and the car was worth less looked at getting the 2013 VW Passat. What really sold me though, was that I was trading a lease I had on a Mazda 3 early, and the car was worth less then the buyout, but that didnt stop Moe from giving me the price that I wanted with the deal I wanted! By the end I was given every single thing I had asked for, without hesitation! Moe did a wonderful job working with his manager to get me the most for my Mazda so I could get the most for my Passat. I would also like to give a shout out to Vicky, who was so delightful and quick, these two truly do make the car buying process a wonderful experience again. I am looking forward to continue being a Galpin member long after this VW lease is up. More

I am truly cannot say enough positive things about my purchase experience with Galpin Volkswagen. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by Herman Serrano from sales. I came prepared and knowing exactly what I was looking for. Herman worked with me trying to find a best deal for what I wanted and he did it 100%. He managed to give me exactly the price I was asking and even got a car from another dealership delivered just for me, since I wanted a particular color, which Galpin did not have at the moment. After all the details were worked out, Herman transferred me to Vicky Moreno, Financial Manager, to complete all the financial documents. She was very well organized, fast and very friendly, even though it was the end of the long day. Vicky made all this paper-signing process fun and easy. Next day my car was already waiting for me and Herman helped me to pair my phone with the car Bluetooth, he made sure that I was completely familiar with the car before I left and all of my questions were thoroughly answered. Next day I received a follow up call from Herman to make sure I am satisfied with my new car and comfortable with all of it's features. He again assured me that he is available anytime to help me with anything related to my new car or answer any questions including regular service or maintenance.
