Ash from Galpin VW sold me my dream SUV! I gave him all the features I wanted including price and warranty. Couple of days later I get a call from Ash, he asked me to come on down and that he had my SUV. I get there and he shows me the exact vehicle that I had in mind! I did not have to waste my time haggling, going back and fort, all I had to do is open my checkbook and write the amount that I had told Ash I wanted to pay for the vehicle, he did all the work for me! While in the finance department I had the pleasure of meeting George from Galpin Ford another splended chap! No hassle, no pressure, where as other dealers try to upsell you. He carefully explained the pros and cons and helped me make a smart decision. In the past 2 years i have bought 3 cars from 3 different dealerships, by far my experience with Galpin was the absolute greatest! I highly recommend you all to go see Ash at Galpin VW when in the market for a great deal on a new or used car, truck or SUV! I went to Galpin Volkswagen based on their sales and customer service reputation and reviews. As soon as we walked up to the door we were greeted by Ryan Sage/Sales and Leasing. Ryan was very welcoming and assisted us with all our questions before, during and after our test drive of a 2013 VW Jetta SE. When we sat down to try and make a deal, Ryan felt more like an advocate in trying to make the deal happen in the quickest and least stressful way as understanding my financial situation and making every effort to work with me. Nick and Vicki in the Finance Department worked diligently and I was pleasantly surprised at the deal that was made. Ryan and Nick were very courteous and extremely easy to speak with. I was able to get my brand new 2013 VW Jetta SE that I am extremely happy with! This was the best experience that I have had buying a car and I will undoubtedly return to Galpin VW when I am ready for an upgrade. More
I was in the area visiting from Ohio on part of a cross-country road trip. Having read the great reviews for Galpin VW online, I brought my Passat in for its 10k service. When I went to pick up my car, I was told that everything was A-OK, and that the service had been performed to completion. When I got home, I found that all of the lug-nut caps were missing from the right side of my car. I went back to Galpin and they were found in the bay where the service technician had been working on my car. I wish this was the worst of my problems. About 400 miles into my trip back to Ohio, my car started flashing lights telling me to stop my engine immediately because there was no oil in the engine. After being stranded in the middle of nowhere, and being towed 112 miles to the nearest dealership, I learned that the service technician at Galpin failed to tighten my oil drain plug causing all the oil to be discharged after only a few hundred miles of driving. All Galpin VW could tell me was that they were "sorry" and that I "shouldn't worry" because modern VW's had highly sensitive technology that warned me about the lack of oil before any real damage to my engine could occur. Easy for them to say, as their less than one year old car did not lose ALL it's oil during travel. Because of their negligence, I am left with the thought of my nearly brand new car potentially developing problems down the line constantly in the back of my mind. This was the most costly "free" oil change I have ever had. More

I had been researching and test driving several cars for months and this was the last dealer on my list. This was by far the easiest and best car buying experience I ever had. I loved dealing with Neil Stone; he is smart, fair and a real human being to deal with, not just a car salesman. We spent a lot of time talking about topics other than just cars while waiting for the paperwork to be completed. The deal he offered was very fair and I loved the feel and look of the new Passat I ended up leasing. His protégé, Victor was very nice and enthusiastic to deal with and Nick in Finance Dept. made that part of the transaction a breeze. I was there for less than 3 hours total on a Sunday which was nice as well. This was my first experience with a Galpin owned dealership, and I happen to work in a law firm that specializes in representing buyers of defective cars, so I knew how to do my homework before I ever got to the dealership, and everything I had heard about Galpin Volkswagon was true. They are amazing people to do business with and I highly recommend them. More

By the way, he has to be the most lovable car salesman in the world. Once we got that out of the way, he found a car that I loved, I went down there, and finished up the deal - and what a great deal it is. I got a 2013 VW Jetta on 4-year lease with FULL maintenance package and Lojack for less than I was paying for my 2008 VW Jetta. It was a very seamless transaction, all of my questions were answered before I even asked them, and the customer service at Galpin is STELLAR! Every face I made eye contact with was smiling, friendly, and eager to help. The finance manager was very personable and thorough as well. I usually leave feeling a since of doom as if I've agreed to pay more than I could afford but I honestly left Galpin feeling excited, lucky, and worry-free. These people are trustworthy and absolutely amazing! More

So last week I did something I have been waiting for while to do; go buy a car. I got to tell you I hate going through the sales process but I really needed a car so I sucked it up and went to Galpin V while to do; go buy a car. I got there and I asked for the GM Mike, I had some dialogue with him prior to my visit to feel them out. Upon my arrival Mike offered me something to drink then introduced to the sales manager Paul, who was also extremely professional ultimately Mike walked me over to Blake, the sales rep who would be helping me out for the day. From there I literally felt like I was hanging out with the fellas, not once did I feel like a piece of meat or a conquest some sales guy would brag to his buddy's about later. Bottom line is I have sub 500 fico and a voluntary repossession in 2009. Everywhere I went I was being hammered on rate and low balled on my trade in. At Galpin Volkswagen I got a lower rate by 6% less than the best rate I had been offered at all the other dealerships (I am guessing the rate I received has a lot to do with the kind of relationships that Mike / Galpin has established with their lenders). Blake, Mike and Paul gave me 500 more than I expected on my trade and they helped pay my expired plates for my trade to the tune of almost $1,000.00. Needless to say I got treated with respect and never felt pressured.. I purchased an awesome car that gives me 40/33 MPG, a Volkswagen Jetta TDI, loaded and with a diesel engine. At the end of the day I met with Nick the finance manager, no sales pitch about GAP insurance or extended warranty's, the guy just asked me if I wanted it. I got the GAP insurance and that was that. To top things off I got a call today from Paul the Sales Manager to tell me that they would be reimbursing almost 500 bucks to my checking account. Seems we overpaid for my plates and that was really money that they paid, yet I am the one that is getting the money back... The team at Galpin is 2nd to none, I have been in sales for 15 years. If I ever wanted to sale cars, those are the kinds of co workers I would like to be on a team with and the type of management running the organization. - Omar More
