This should be a 1 star ratingI am extremely This should be a 1 star rating I am extremely disappointed in Galpin and Will Baxter General manager after this dealership failed to pay off my trade This should be a 1 star rating I am extremely disappointed in Galpin and Will Baxter General manager after this dealership failed to pay off my trade in vehicle for more than 30 days. I explained that had I not contacted Galpin directly, this untenable situation would have continued and damage my credit even further. The fact is my debt to ratio was affected and brought my credit score down from a 720 to 703 to date. All because it appears that I was financing 2 vehicles instead of just one. I had to make several phone inquiries to Volkswagen credit and Galpin to unwind this failure of the dealership and get Galpin to pay off many 2019. That should have been automatic. Volkswagen which I traded in on November 26th 2020. I asked Mr. Baxter as a courtesy to make one payment on my new vehicle to lessen my pain and anguish unraveling this shortfall. He refused to do so. I am appalled that a dealership of this caliber and magnitude would fail me by simply honoring my request of such a small gesture. Had I not noticed I was still receiving payment requests from Volkswagen credit this could have been a serious legal issue and action that I would have to take l to resolve had this debacle got worse. Why not take care of a good customer who has bought several vehicles and referred may more. I am shocked and shaken to my foundation that this dealership and Mr. Baxter would fail me so badly If I were Mr. Baxter, I would be embarrassed by what transpired and made an offer to compromise my claim and continue to make me a happy consumer. Now Neda Mongeau in customer relations Manager is asking me to produce the impossible notation that is showing 2 vehicles being financed on my credit report. All those records have just recently been updated after Galpin finally did their job of paying off my old 2019 Jetta. Very egregious that I have been treated like this! More
