We began our search for a new car with internet sites (e.g., Edmunds.com), and eventually progressed to requesting internet quotes from various dealerships. Galpin Honda responded immediately to our request for an internet quote. The quote was better than most other internet quotes for the car we wanted, so we interacted via telephone with the internet salesperson, Kylee, and eventually went to the dealership in person. Kylee--the person who handled the internet quote--met us and introduced us to Fay Aminian who handled the rest of the deal. Everyone we interacted with at Galpin Honda was warm, professional, polished, courteous, and helpful. Our deal turned out to be quite complicated for a variety of reasons, and the negotiations spanned several days. Throughout the negotiations, however, Fay, and the rest of the Galpin staff with whom we interacted worked so very hard and did everything possible to close a deal for us at a price that was very competitive and for a car that was perfect for us. Fay, Vicky, Kylee, and Ed were hard-working, fair, reasonable, and honest throughout the negotiations and deal transaction. I walked into Galpin Honda knowing what I wanted and doubting they could give it to me. Sam approched me and I told him what I wanted. He didn't even try to haggle, he just said ok and told me he would doubting they could give it to me. Sam approched me and I told him what I wanted. He didn't even try to haggle, he just said ok and told me he would try to go get me that car with that price and he was 99.9% sure he could do it. A few questions later he did just what he said, and I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. While going through this stressful process, Sam stayed courtious and paitent, he let me think and didn't overwhelm me with attention. I will be a customer of Sam's and Galpin Honda's in the future. When the cost of gas went up (again!) this year, I decided to finally get a Honda to save gas on my commute. I had in mind to get a Fit, so I went to Galpin to test drive it and see what it cost. decided to finally get a Honda to save gas on my commute. I had in mind to get a Fit, so I went to Galpin to test drive it and see what it cost. The greatest salesman, Joe Uphoff helped me. We did the math on the actual savings, including the loan, compared to my current car. Besides the Fit, the Civic, and Insight also would net me big savings. We test-drove all three, and he was honest about pointing out both the positive qualities of each car, as well as a couple of negatives. He showed me the navigation system in another Civic, and I ended up buying a Civic with the Navi-Bluetooth. I love it. Even though I had gone in there expecting to buy the Fit, the seat wasn't really comfortable for me, but the Civic was. Joe even let me drive home (I live pretty close to Galpin) to see if my "teacher" cart would fit in the trunk. That was a deal-breaker, because I haul a lot of stuff back and forth from work. I was very happy with the experience, even though it does take a long time by the time you get through Finance. Joe made sure I had coffee or water, or whatever I needed. I highly recommend Galpin Honda. Ask for Joe Uphoff. He is very helpful and not pushy at all. He knows what he is talking about. The dealership makes sure you feel comfortable. There are chairs to sit in, coffee or water to drink, and fresh-baked cookies. Everyone I met was pleasant and helpful. More
When I went in to this Honda Galpin, I was quickly approached by the sales rep Katie Barnett, I really wanted this S2000. The new 2011 Honda Civic LX with 0 miles was mine, lol and she even manage to find me a 5-speed. From the bottom of my and my family heart I thank you. Now that I have this new car, I quickly want to add accessaries, Don is the go to guy with parts and best way to going about payments. I dig all the aiding from all the staff and reps. Brooklyn greeted us as soon as we got there and took us for a test drive right away because we knew exactly what we wanted. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease, he is not your typical salesman that wants to close a deal by shoving it down your throat. This dealership overall is very nice, the staff is very friendly and the managers will work with you to get you a good deal. I recommend this dealership to anyone planning on getting a Honda! My husband and I just recently purchased a new 2012 Honda Civic from Galpin Honda and we couldn't have picked a better Honda dealer to buy from. We were actually able to browse the lot for a few minutes wit Civic from Galpin Honda and we couldn't have picked a better Honda dealer to buy from. We were actually able to browse the lot for a few minutes without being swarmed upon like vultures do over a carcass. We were greeted very nicely when we entered the lobby and everybody was so friendly. We knew we wanted the Civic so this made things really easy, and our sales rep Joe couldn't of done a better job in making the process as painless as possible! He was able to answer all of our questions and even drove us to another dealership to test drive another car because he was so sure that the deal he was giving us couldn't be matched!!!!! We couldnt believe it! If your looking to buy a car go to Galpin Honda and ask for Joe Uphoff, he knows his stuff and is a genuinely nice guy! More
