I have always been treated with respect and as a valued customer. They realize that my time is as valuable as theirs. I spoke to D.J. in the Service Department and got attitude out of him, I told him someone had said to see him to have my weather stripping looked at on my 2010 Honda Civic as it was coming off on the attitude out of him, I told him someone had said to see him to have my weather stripping looked at on my 2010 Honda Civic as it was coming off on the drivers door. He said who did you talk too, I told him, I did not remember, all he had to do was look up my name on the computer to see I had a four o'clock appointment. The bottom line besides his attitude was, I was there for over a hour and they did not fix the problem. I have to go back as they had to special order the weather stripping, what a hassle and disappointment. I have had several problems with the car and it is my first new car. I will not buy another Honda, I will be looking at Kia's as they have come a long way in quality. More
I just bought my new 2011 Honda CRZ and the last thing I ever thought I'd be doing now is writing a review. But I was so impressed with the guys I worked with, particularly Ricky, that I had to put the wor ever thought I'd be doing now is writing a review. But I was so impressed with the guys I worked with, particularly Ricky, that I had to put the word out. These guys gave me a better deal than the one I had shopped online, and then beat it, and then beat it again. But beyond the deal, Ricky was frankly the type of guy who is a pleasure to deal with. He went so far beyond what I expected even after the deal was done, that I can only say he definitely in this business for the long term customer relationships and positive word of mouth. My sister had bought a car from him a couple months ago, and raved about him, and I was honestly skeptical, thinking a car salesman is a car salesman. Not so. These guys... Ricky, Shawn, and Steve in finance are genuinely good guys. Sure, their job is to try to earn some money for the dealership and themselves, but it never came at the expense of making a marginally happy customer a better deal so I would be thrilled. Bottom line: I left thrilled with my deal, and with my dealings with them. I'm a tough cookie when it comes to buying a car, and these guys were patient, respectful, and even entertaining! I would never buy another Honda without seeing Ricky first. He's been in the business a long time, and I can see why. More

Liars and thieves. First they tried to deliver a car different from the one I chosen and test driven one that had been on the lot longer. Then they insisted that I had to pay for the GuidePoint location different from the one I chosen and test driven one that had been on the lot longer. Then they insisted that I had to pay for the GuidePoint location service and an active alarm since it was already installed and it would cost them to remove the items. Said they would only charge me their cost. Turns out these devices were not installed on the vehicle I purchased and were not on the delivery checklist as is items to install later since that had already been installed. So I paid for something that was not there. More
I bought a 1999 Miata in January 2010. In May 2010 someone bumped (scraped) me. When I took it to the body repair shop with GEICO insurance, the body shop manager (18 years experience in body work) po someone bumped (scraped) me. When I took it to the body repair shop with GEICO insurance, the body shop manager (18 years experience in body work) pointed out a patch up job on a previous bumper accident that was concealed with new paint. Galpin Honda had painted over this repair twice to conceal it and they did not disclose this accident to me. The carfax did not show it, but they obviously new about it and painted right over it. Had I not got into this other bumper accident in May, I would have never known what was under the new black shiny paint job. When purchasing the car, Galpin told me a panel was keyed and so the entire car was repainted. FYI- the damage can be seen from inside the trunk wall and also when the rear left lamp is out of the socket, which should happen when a paint job is done correctly. When I took the car back to Galpin, Hartoonian said he would buy it back from me minus the license and taxes the new security alarm I had to install ($1200) and that he COULD AND WOULD sell it again, without a price reduction and without disclosing the patch up job underneath from the accident. This guy has no scruples. Galpin Honda SOLD ME A PREVIOUSLY ACCIDENTED VEHICLE WITHOUT DISCLOSING IT - DECEPTIVE PRACTICES AND I'M GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE IN LOS ANGELES AS WELL AS WITH THE DMV INVESTIGATOR. IT IS SO UNFORTUNATE BECAUSE BY LOOKING AT THE GALPIN FAMILY (THE OWNERS) IN PHOTOS, THEY LOOK TO BE SUCH DECENT PEOPLE. THEY WERE EVEN GIVEN AN HUMANITARIAN AWARD BY DAVE WINFIELD. MAYBE I SHOULD CALL HIM AND HAVE HIM TAKE IT BACK. WHY THEY HAVE SHODDY GM'S LIKE EDIK HARTOONIAN WORKING FOR THEM IS UNFORTUNATE. More
I have been to 3 different Honda dealership and Galpin Honda is by far, the worst experience I had. The sales rep, Junior, that worked with me is kind, patient and understanding. But his manager Jorge Ma Honda is by far, the worst experience I had. The sales rep, Junior, that worked with me is kind, patient and understanding. But his manager Jorge Magana that is very dishonest. I was negotiating the price of a 3 year lease, and he told me that the down payment was such and such with a monthly payment of this amount. I called him back the next day and he denied giving me that price and gave me a much higher price instead. I then called him back 2 days later and he then changed the price on me again. I asked him what happened to the price we had earlier agreed upon, he then told me the price we were negotiating was for a 5 year lease. I told him I did not even know that Honda had a 5 year lease then, so how could we be negotiating for that?. He then gave me a much higher price now compared to the last higher price he gave me last. I later on found out from an honest dealership that Honda does not even offer a 5 year lease. If I had gotten the 5 year lease with Galpin, it would not be from Honda and would therefore not include the GAP insurance. This dealership is very dishonest. Do not even waste your time with them.. Good news is, I got my Honda CRV from Kolbe Honda. This is an honest dealership. Very professional and courteous. They will treat you with respect. They worked with me on getting the best price and did not jerk me around. More
dishonest, poor sevice. Agreed to term on lease, at time of signing was for more money a month for longer term, wouldn't change it unless i increased my down payment. When they brought out my car it was mi of signing was for more money a month for longer term, wouldn't change it unless i increased my down payment. When they brought out my car it was missing several options that were originally in the contract and they refused to change it unless I paid more. I tore up my lease on the spot and walked out. More

I took my car in for a major service and a warranty repair. The service writer told me he would call me with an estimate by about noon, He did not. I called him around 1:30 and he told me that in addit repair. The service writer told me he would call me with an estimate by about noon, He did not. I called him around 1:30 and he told me that in addition to the first $98 diagnostic fee he quoted me to find out what was wrong with my car he would have to charge me another $198 to find out some other things that were showing up wrong with the engine. I decided not to spend $300 on exploration of all the things that might be wrong with my 5-year-old engine and told him to just do the oil change. I had rented a car for the day for $32 and all I got out of that day's hassle was an oil change and the accusation that the warranty item I wanted replaced was not under warranty at all. I have to bring them proof that Honda Corp. sent me a letter telling me to get that part replaced. This oil change cost me $30 plus $48 for all the "diagnostics" they did. The service dept. manager was decent enough to waive the rental car fee since 90% of what I had hoped to get repaired that day was not done. I will never waste my precious time at Galpin Honda's service department again. The service writer was condescending, withheld information, and jerked me around. More
