The sales team was well prepared for our visit to the Dealership. My wife and I had been contacting numerous Honda dealerships. The preferred pricing of the Honda Accord SE was based on the lowest price quote we received from Honda Dealers throughout So. Cal. When the time came to buy: Galpin matched the lowest quote. Our new Honda was prepped,and ready to drive off the lot once the paperwork was completed and that meant: floor mats were put in place; the car was washed; and the gas tank was filled. All service options were explained in detail and pricing discounts from COSTCO and AAA were offered and the best price was accepted. It was "TOP GUN" Service from the Galpin family of sales and finance employees that we had expected and my wife and I were not let down. I had made a pledge to Bert and Jane Boeckmann during the Valley Secession reconciliation meeting, hosted by them, that my family would buy all our new cars from Galpin as a show of appreciation and graditude for their committment to the San Fernando Valley communities. We purchased our used 2007 Volvo XC90 from Galpin Honda on May 23, 2011 and with an agreement to fix certain things with the vehicle to be taken back to get services. We had our appointment to get the car service on June 6, 2011, which we dropped, off the night before on June 5, 2011 with service technician Mike James. On our invoice #238222 it indicates that our Mileage in: 99976, which was correct but the Mileage out: 99977 which we are outraged about and want an explanation to the mileage accrued on our vehicle when the Mileage when we picked up the vehicle was 100061 and the job on the vehicle was not finished Galpin Honda had our vehicle for 3 days and the jobs was really sloppy the headliner and steam clean was poorly done that the headliner is dirtier than when we dropped it off and the car was not re-detailed at all car came back dirty there was still dirt on the car of our floor and the tape to “try” to fix wind noise was still there and warning light is still on for bulb position failure came back on after 1 day so problem never solved. They told us to come back. We are so outrage at the customer service that Galpin Honda has shown. We tried to contact the manager with the service dept. but like poor customer service he did not call back. We will not bring our vehicle back to Galpin Honda and the things as agreed in the vehicle purchase agreement not completed. More
