Gallatin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram responded

This review catches me and my team all by surprise, including the characterized names we have been given. On 8/4/17, Mr. Tidwell left our dealership with a smile and with several handshakes, claiming he was very pleased with his experience, and the expressions of how happy he was, was very visible. This most recent sales experience with Mr. Tidwell was a 3 day process, having to locate him a very limited color selection (Gobi) on a new Jeep Wrangler. There were only 4-5 of the Gobi within 500 miles. Mr. Tidwell agreed to the terms and conditions of the sale without hesitation. The 1st Gobi we agreed on sold prior to our knowledge. I immediately contacted Mr. Tidwell to update him and ask him to meet with me again in person to make another selection. He agreed to do so without hesitation. We came to a 2nd agreement, and proceeded forward. Mr. Tidwell came to pick up his new Wrangler, and after the deal finalized and, I asked multiple times, "Are you happy with your purchase, Cory?". Mr. Tidwell accepted my handshake with a smile and said, "yes, I am very happy. Thank you all very much, you have been pleasant to work with. Now, looking to get some new wheels and tires for it." He had a very pleasant glow on his face, one that said to me, he's a very happy camper. This is not the 1st time Mr. Tidwell has gotten upset with our dealership. We have worked with him on several occasions, and the negative connotations mentioned in his review above (idiots, liars, crooks, screws the customer, etc.) have been expressed to us in the past. Yet, we continue to welcome him to our dealership, and look for ways to make amends to any situation. At no given time were we made to feel "the whole process was a pain" with Mr. Tidwell. Having known Mr. Tidwell for sometime, I did not want my salesman, Doug Suddeth, to endure any negativity from Mr. Tidwell. As a manager, I stepped in to ensure the whole process for Mr. Tidwell was smooth, stream-lined, pleasant and satisfying. I am very caught off guard with this negative review. To receive a handshake face to face of utmost satisfaction to only receive a negative review behind the scenes on social media leaves us very dumbfounded and astonished. Mr. Tidwell, I am truly sorry for your unpleasant experience. This review blindsides me and leaves us astounded. I wish you would have discussed this with me prior to leaving this review. Your handshakes and smiles to me left me only to realize and understand how happy you were with your purchase. I left you a voicemail today. I hope you will return my call to discuss this with me, live.

Mr. Floyd, I stated I was very happy with the Jeep, I never said I was happy with the deal. I knew you were screwing me on my trade-in from the start and were taking advantage of the fact that I was very limited on options since the Gobi color I wanted is so rare. What I didn't realize was how much you screwed me on the trade. I waited to do my review until the truck was on the lot for sale so I could see what price you would put on it. You acted like it was a strain to give me $26,000 for my truck yet KBB said it was worth $29,000. You immediately gave me the bottom end, "fair" value trade amount knowing that my truck was in much better condition than that. That whole Jeeps and Wrenches discount isn't really a discount if you get every penny back on the trade. It would not have done me any good to fight with you on the numbers because of the very limited supply of Gob Jeeps and the fact that JKs cannot be ordered anymore. The fact that it was so far away didn't play into my favor either. It was either I wanted the Jeep or I didn't, and the deal was in your favor the whole time. I will give you credit, you did a good job making yourself and the dealership more money on the deal. I guess that's your job if you can live with screwing over people. You knew that my options were limited and so did I and making a big deal out of the trade value would have been a waste of time. Your salesman told me it would be hauled to Miracle at the dealership's expense, then the next day that changed to I would have to pay for it. When I confronted you about it you quickly said "well that was for a different vehicle". That's a weak, cheap answer that doesn't value the customer at all. At that point you should have made the deal a little better to make up for it having nearly 800 miles on it when it arrived. The next I was told the original Jeep was locked down. I was told this Friday night and Saturday morning I was told it sold, but there was another one in Arkansas for $700 more. I expected Miracle to keep the price the same, especially since you screwed me on my trade so badly, but no, when I arrived you expected to fork out the whole $700. You eventually gave in and paid half of it. Yes this was the second bad experience I've had there. The first time I made it clear as soon as I walked in. I was looking for something specific without having to finance any part of it. I was very clear to the salesman. I told him not to waste my time. I told him if he couldn't do the deal then just say so and I would be on my way. That day you and your salesman wasted over an hour of my time doing what should have taken less than 20 minutes. I very politely asked for my keys to my trade-in back and I walked out. I even stopped at the door to shake hands and say hi to John Booker. I never attacked the dealership or posted any bad review about that experience. You saying that you did not want Doug to endure any negativity from me is BS and you know it. Your last salesman didn't endure any negativity from me and neither did the one that sold me my last Jeep. That is an attack on my character which is something that I haven't done to you. I left a bad review of my experience, but I never called anyone out by name. I could have posted about how much I hated you and how horrible of a person you are, but I didn't. If you and you dealership cannot handle a bad review or bad criticism, I suggest you stop sending out the reviews in the first place. You know you screwed me in this deal, but I don't expect you to admit it. My advice to you is do not ask me for my opinion and then cry about it when I say something negative. You want my opinion you better be ready to hear what I have to say. I can't leave out the part about service and the "VIP" maintenance package I received for being such as loyal customer. Four free oil changes and two tire rotations. I was told that deal didn't even start until September, but I was getting it early because I was a "VIP. Thank you, that is a good deal, but don't sell it like your doing me this huge favor as a "VIP'. That's the same deal I received with the first Jeep I bought from Miracle a year ago. It's plastered all over your website. Call the dealership and get put on hold, you will hear it there too. Mr. Floyd, I was warned by someone with knowledge of your tactics and character, not to deal with you, but I did it anyway. That was my mistake. I didn't work with you when I bought my first Jeep there last year and I have to say that experience was pretty great. John Booker and Brad Billingsly both were great to work with. John is always polite when I come in there, and of course Brad has moved on and no longer works there. It's my fault that I let you work the deal, but I won't make that mistake again. You can let your boss and the owner of Miracle know that you are a big reason why my wife and I will never again do business with Miracle CDJR. Sales or service.
