As with many people, I am too busy to play the traditional "make an offer - have the salesman talk to the manager - make another offer" ad infinitum. I expect a dealer, when asked for the best pri traditional "make an offer - have the salesman talk to the manager - make another offer" ad infinitum. I expect a dealer, when asked for the best price, to just go there. I contacted this dealer (and three others) with a particular model and set of options, and a price I would not exceed. Of the four, this dealer only quoted me approximate MSRPs. The others sent me copies of the window stickers that had my desired options, and gave me invoice pricing (in one case) and near-invoice in the others. I sent an email to this dealer, saying that they would not be getting my business, and instead of a "gosh, hope we go better next time", I got a smarmy note about how they always beat the prices where I went (beat invoice? OK, but that's rare), and how the other dealer's service department was poor (which is false; the dealer I went with was among the highest rated in the state). I am not impressed with the sales, the price, nor the attitude. Go elsewhere. See my rating of Lakeview Ford for a contrasting experience. More
It went from the best experience to the worst in a little over a week. I have been dealing with this dealership for years as they serviced my previous ford vehicle. About a month ago I traded in my old truck over a week. I have been dealing with this dealership for years as they serviced my previous ford vehicle. About a month ago I traded in my old truck for a new one and everything was great. About three weeks afterward I get a call from the salesman stating that my payoff for my trade in was more than they thought!! I asked him what he was talking about and it seemed that he took the payoff estimate that I gave him( I told him I was not certain) and never checked with the bank to see what it actually was!! I called the bank and they explained that anytime someone calls for a payoff amount it is logged in their system by the computer and guess what? There was no log of them checking, even though the salesman swears that he did. Long story short, they wanted me to pay the difference. I was very upset that a business who made an error like this would expect me to come out of pocket to fix it. It was too late to redo the contract and they had already sold my old truck. It really backed me into a corner. I refused to pay the amount requested and told them they needed to take ownership for their mistakes like anyone else. I had ordered some extra items for the truck I bought through them and had it added in with my loan. They are holding these items hostage and told me they wouldnt give them to me unless I paid the extra money I owed them. Never in my life have I dealt with people so unprofessional! I will be calling Ford motor Company as well as filling out a claim with the BBB. This Dealership doesnt care about their customers!! All they care about is money and will do illegal things if neccesary to get what they want.. After being a paying customer for over three years and giving them referrals this is the way they treat loyalty? Makes me sick! More
While this is a small town Ford Dealer they really stepped up and provided a big service. We bought a 2012 Ford Focus from them. I called Dennis C the service manager at 5:00 PM to let him know my daughter had a tire pressure warning light illuminated on her 2012 Fusion. Even though it was quitting time, Dennis assured me that he w him know my daughter had a tire pressure warning light illuminated on her 2012 Fusion. Even though it was quitting time, Dennis assured me that he would see that everything was taken care of. Dennis told me to have her bring it right in and then he stayed late and personally made sure that the car was repaired quickly. While my daughter waited, Bill and Ed both stopped in to the waiting room to see if everything was all right and to see if my daughter needed anything. Brought my Jeep in for a bad water pump.
