Just to be honest, I would try dealerships last because of various reasons, especially the pressure and feeling that I was buying a story and not a vehicle. No so with Galeana! This has got to be the m of various reasons, especially the pressure and feeling that I was buying a story and not a vehicle. No so with Galeana! This has got to be the most pleasant, honest, up front workings with a dealer in South Carolina I have ever had. Terry and the team were attentive to our needs, patient (we did come in 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday) and transparent. The deal was completely above board and on the up and up. Thank you so much, Terry and everyone else who helped us find the most perfect van for our needs at a great price, the Chrysler Town and Country. What a great vehicle and wonderful experience. You will see me again! Sandy More
My experience was absolutely wonderful...I have told all my friends and family about the dealership in Columbia..I live 2.5 hours away but it was well worth the drive. As for Steve Graham I cannot say enoug my friends and family about the dealership in Columbia..I live 2.5 hours away but it was well worth the drive. As for Steve Graham I cannot say enough positive things..he made the purchase so smooth, he answered all of my questions before I even asked. My wife and I moved to the Columbia area about 5 years ago and have been looking for a dealership to use for our automotive needs. We purchased a Jeep Patriot about 2.5 years ago and just recently leased ago and have been looking for a dealership to use for our automotive needs. We purchased a Jeep Patriot about 2.5 years ago and just recently leased a 2013 Kia Optima. Ernie Peterkin, our salesman greeted us with a smile, was very professional and most of all "not pushy" in any way. Ernie Peterkin made this the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Every employee I spoke to at Galeana Chrysler Jeep Kia was professional and kind. I will recommend this Dealership to anyone that asks me for a good place to go. Thank you Galeana for the no stress car buying experience. I'll be back..... More
You guys were GREAT!!! Ernie was OUTSTANDING and I felt very comfortable! I am very skeptical in purchasing a car because I feel like at that point one can be deceived and mislead. However, I didn't fee very comfortable! I am very skeptical in purchasing a car because I feel like at that point one can be deceived and mislead. However, I didn't feel that way with you guys, I felt confident and the environment was non-threatening. I would highly RECOMMEND you all without any reservations! God Bless You and I look forward to bringing my car back for an oil change in a couple of months. If any teachers at my school are looking for a vehicle, I will definitely send them to Galeana! I purchased my Kia Optima EX with leather package from Galeana on September 28th. I am 55 years old and have purchased several vehicles over the years, and my Kia purchase, was by far my most pleasant car Galeana on September 28th. I am 55 years old and have purchased several vehicles over the years, and my Kia purchase, was by far my most pleasant car buying experience of all. Steven Graham was the reason that it was such a great experience. I live in Atlanta and prior to my wonderful new Optima, I had been driving a 2003 Toyota Camry, which I have now given to my college freshman for driving back and forth to Auburn. When I first started researching to decide what car to my I was going to buy another Camry, but after researching I decided the Kia Optima EX was the choice for me. After my research, I went looking and test driving at the dealership in La Grange. I went on the way to and from Auburn for a couple of football games. Also, my wife and I went by Rick Case Kia at Gwinnett Place in Atlanta for a test drive and to decide on the color of the vehicle that we wanted. I then started negotiating with the internet salesmen at those two dealerships in attempt to determine a good drive out price. At that same time, a friend of mine who lives in Columbia, told me that I should check out your Galeana dealership because he said he heard they were a great dealership and that friends of his said the people there were nice and that they gave great deals. The next day after going to the Rick Case Kia dealership for the test drive, based on my friend's recommendation, I went to your Galeana internet site, and saw the Optima EX, with the exact options I wanted, listed. I clicked on the link for getting the price. That is when my relationship with Steven Graham began. Prior to that, I had gotten drive out prices from both the dealerships in Atlanta and La Grange, but they came with great difficulty, and the salesmen were difficult to deal with. Steven was completely opposite of that. He sent me an email with the drive out price, and told me to contact him if I was interested. The price in his email beat the other dealer's prices by a mile. I called Steven, and explained to him that I was from Atlanta, but that I was willing to drive to Columbia in order to get a good price. He was very nice and gladly answered all of my questions about the vehicle. He took the time to explain the financing options, and told me that if I wanted the vehicle, he would hold it for me, and then have it ready for me to pick it up on the following Saturday, September 29th. After talking with Steve and finding out the drive out price he was offering me, I contacted the other 2 dealers that I had dealt with to see if they could beat the price, and they couldn't, and they said there was no way I could be getting that price for that vehicle with those options. I then called Steven back and said that I wanted the car and would be coming to pick up the car on that Saturday. I applied for finance online and when I talked with Steven to tell him that I wanted the car, he asked me to fax my Camry Registration papers and my Driver's License and Insurance card to him so that everything would be ready for me when I got to your dealership, so that the process wouldn't take long. He also asked if there was anything else he could help me with. On Saturday, September 28th, my father in law and I left early in the morning, and drove to Columbia to pick up my new Optima EX. When we got there, Steven came out to greet us, and he was just as nice and attentive to us in person as he had been with me over the phone. He handed us the keys to the car, then took the time to show us the features inside the car, making sure we understood how to use them, and then let us take the car for a test drive. While we were test driving, he went in and started the ball rolling for the purchase process so that we wouldn't have long to wait after our test drive. After the test drive, we went in to finalize the details. We met Adam Firefly, who was very nice, and then met with Tom Cunningham, who handled the financing details. Tom was also very nice and explained all of the details of the financing to me. The whole purchase inside the dealership took about 20 minutes and was very enjoyable. Afterwards, Steven took us back out to the car and asked if there were any other questions concerning the vehicle, and even helped me set up my phone so that I could use the UVO software. I then left the dealership and drove back to Atlanta, extremely satisfied with my purchase, and glad that I had driven to Columbia. When I got home, I sent an email to Steven and CC'd the other guys and told them how pleased I was with my purchase and what a pleasant experience it had been. The following weekend I ended up having to have 2 cardio stents due to blockages. One was 90% blocked and the other 80%. When I was home from the hospital recovering, I received a survey about my Kia purchase and my experience with dealing with Steven. I think the drugs or the aftermath of the procedure must have messed up my brain. I thought I answered the questions in a manner that would reflect well on Steven. However, the following week, I received a phone call from Steven, and he said he was concerned about the survey, and that he had received the lowest score he had ever received on a couple of the sections, and he wanted to know how he could make things better. I was floored, humiliated, and embarrassed that I had caused the bad rating for Steven. I apologized to him and he was very gracious about it. Afterwards I talked to Adam about it and he said it was ok and that maybe they could send me another survey. I never received one. I also called the Kia Company Headquarters and talked to the Customer Service Representative and appealed to her in regards to correcting my mistakes with the survey. She told me that she would contact your dealership and tell them what had happened and give Steven a recommendation for an award based on my recommendation. I hope that she did. I know this has been wordy, and I appreciate your patience with me, but I wanted to explain the whole situation to you. I have told all of my friends about the wonderful experience I had with your dealership and with dealing with Steven, and have recommended your dealership to them. For my next car purchase, Galeana will be at the top of my list of dealerships to contact. I love my Kia Optima EX and have received several compliments on it. Please thank Steven again for me for everything he did for me, and tell him again that I'm very sorry about the survey results mishap. More

I purchased a 2003 Chry. Sebring convertible from this dealer. It was a low mileage, clean car. Started having trouble from the start. Elec. windows not working properly, (Slow FR window);seat belt light dealer. It was a low mileage, clean car. Started having trouble from the start. Elec. windows not working properly, (Slow FR window);seat belt light light remains on and instrument cluster lights failed. All replaced except seat belt light as that would have been another $400 fix. Had full brake job due to "dragging sound" in front wheels. Spent over $900 for "fix" and it still does it. Back in shop now! This is my wife's car and she is getting affraid to drive it!!! More
My husband and I just purchased a vehicle from Galeana Kia yesterday afternoon. I have to admit this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I have only bought three other vehicles i Kia yesterday afternoon. I have to admit this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I have only bought three other vehicles in my lifetime and each one was a long drawn out experience. Each time my credit was either nonexistent or less than desirable and each salesmen made me feel embarrassed for it. This was not the case yesterday. My husband and I actually had no intention of purchasing a vehicle and stopped by just to look at the Souls. From the minute Darren walked out to greet us, I felt like he was catered for us. Not only was he knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking at, he never once made us feel like we had to buy it. But what was truly impressive was the fact that we had alot in common with Darren therefore we had some enjoyable conversations yesterday. We were upfront about our mediocre credit (and yes I'm probably giving us more credit than we deserve) and Darren didn't even blink an eye. Darren was able to knock out an incredible deal with our trade in and the purchase of the Soul where the car payment stayed exactly the same to what I was paying for my Hyundai. Now we have a vehicle we actually want with features I never thought we could afford. Darren was able to make this happen in under 3 hours while showing us exactly how the Soul functions and explaining every part of the process along the way. We did not feel rushed at all and commented all night to each other that was the best car buying experience either of us ever had. We will definitely look to recommend Darren and Galeana Kia to family and friends when they are looking for a new vehicle. Thank you again for your awesome service! More
I came to Galeanna in hopes of purchasing my first new vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The first person I worked with was Stan, and let me say that he was a GREAT salesperson, and everything tha vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The first person I worked with was Stan, and let me say that he was a GREAT salesperson, and everything that happened afterwards is no reflection on him as a salesman. When Stan and I picked out a vehicle I immediately put down a down payment, and the vehicle was going to be shipped from another dealership and said to be there in a week. I work out of town and had taken the day off on a Wednesday so that i could pick up my vehicle that morning, but I was notified on the Monday night before by the sales manager that the vehicle had been sold out from under me. I understand that the other dealership is the one that sold it, but I was still holding up my end of the bargain as I had all my funds in line. The sales manager told me he had found me a comparable vehicle that was exactly the same but it had a tow package and an upgraded wheel package. He asked me to pay a difference in price, and i agreed to pay for the tow package since I had originally requested it, but I did not want to pay for the wheels. He agreed. They had the truck brought in and I spent the morning at the bank getting all my funds. As I was finishing up the paperwork at the bank, the sales manager called me to say the truck was ready and mentioned something of "saddle" interior. When I asked what saddle interior was, he avoided the question and said he would see me shortly. When I got to the dealership with money in hand, I opened the door of the Jeep to find BROWN interior when I specifically requested black... I was offered a small concession to accept the vehicle as is, and I refused. The sales manager again found another vehicle that he said he could get, but was asking ADDITIONAL money again because it had more equipment than I wanted. I didn't believe I should have to spend ANYTHING else after the experience I had already been through and for equipment I did not even want, and after meeting with the General Manager, he was still no help as he refused to come off of a $300 difference to save a very displeased customer. I understood that the dealership was selling a vehicle with more equipment, but after I had been inconvenienced not once, but TWO different times on TWO different vehicles, I felt it was not unreasonable for me to be upset about having to pay more. It is unfortunate that the experience went this way, because I did enjoy my experience working with Stan, I did not feel like management was interested in making right something that was screwed up on Jeep's part... I would not send anyone to this dealership until they get their act together, I did not feel like the customer was put first here when things went south. More
