BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE We have leased two Toyota's from them and the sales and service dept shows ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE I called in to make an appointment for my 2014 Toyot We have leased two Toyota's from them and the sales and service dept shows ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE I called in to make an appointment for my 2014 Toyota RAV4 and had requested a loaner vehicle. They said they don't give loaner cars, but my RAV4 needed service as the trunk power door is not working, breaking system needs to be checked and the glove compartment is not locking, but at the time of leasing my cars from them, they promised us things; such as, when we drop off the car for service, they will provide a loaner car. I had spoken to the sales lady named Barbara two weeks ago regarding service and a loaner car. She had told me the service manager, Rich, would call me, but I have not heard from him. Poor service from Gale Toyota and the service manager This is the second issue dealing with Gale Toyota's service dept. First issue was they did not do everything they told me they did on my 5000 service. This is the second issue dealing with Gale Toyota's service dept. First issue was they did not do everything they told me they did on my 5000 service. When I ask if they did everything for my 5000 service I was told yes. Then they offered me a free 5000 service for not doing what they were suppose to do on the previous service. I go back in yesterday for another 5000 service. This was my free service they offered me. I get home I find grease finger prints on my passenger side door handle, same on the right and left front fenders, also grease prints on my hood and grill area along with two fresh chips in the paint on the top of my left front fender right where some of the finger prints were. This is a WHITE truck how can't you see grease finger prints on it. I reported it to the dealership. I received a call from the so called service manager Richard Golden this morning. He said I should of brought the truck back so he could wipe the finger prints off. Pretty stupid thing to say to a customer when I live 15 miles from the dealership one way. What happen with doing a good job the first time. Richard was more concerned about defending his service techs than he was to anything I had to say. I asked what did I do to get this kind of service from Gale Toyota. Then I figured it out. I went back and gave them a second chance. Poor service work and very poor customer relations from there so called service manager. Oh and by the way you don't have a low enough rating on your chart below to rate this dealership service dept. I have lost total faith in this dealership. Its sad because it makes everyone at the dealership look bad. Who can you trust anymore? It's certainly not Gale Toyota's service dept. More
Waited 2hr for just for oil chance I had an appointment for 3:30 pm on 5/20/15 Went 1hr early at 2:15pm and waited until 3:40 pm , my car was still parked out side to be taken in for s I had an appointment for 3:30 pm on 5/20/15 Went 1hr early at 2:15pm and waited until 3:40 pm , my car was still parked out side to be taken in for service , so I left without having oil change , service advisor lady not even said we are sorry ( just gave the key to me ) Just for oil change I waited I waited too long I should have gone to local station and get better service More one thing Service dept has NO service parking for customer , customers parks them self and than walk to service entrance Other Toyota dealer has service drive thru service which gale Toyota doesn't have , and when the car us done service , tech parks the car out side and customers has to look for their car where was park ( that's very bad ) no respect More
purchased 2004 Toyota 4Runner--it has been back 3x for the same problems/it should have been taken care of before the purchase-now it's back there for the 2nd time on the same complaints-- at the drop o the same problems/it should have been taken care of before the purchase-now it's back there for the 2nd time on the same complaints-- at the drop off this morning I was told that there is a recall for the brake system that was never taken care of--why wasn't this taken care of before hand--I have already been called to pick it up--I was told by the mechanic that the recall had been fixed--but he does not feel the slight pulling to the left and shake in the steering wheel when the car is on the highway and as far as the vibraton I feel the brake pedal--I was advised to by thicker shoes. I brought my truck in for an oil change and to check tire pressure and fix the light that was out in my dash. I was told by 2 people it would be 45 mins. I waited 1 hour and 45 mins (and the only thing they did was change my oil! I was told I needed to make another appointment for the light on my dash). I explained to the older woman at the service desk (Maryann?) that I had somewhere to be and that I would have liked someone to have been up front with me about the time involved. I even said, "I know this isn't your fault, but I've been here an hour and 45 minutes..." which is an opener for an apology. She seemed disinterested and detached, handed me my paperwork and told me I needed my brakes looked at (incidentally, I never asked them to look at my brakes!) This is horrible customer service! A sincere apology would have remedied the entire situation but it was never given. I will absolutely NOT return to Gale Toyota. I can go to Sears and get an oil change in 25 minutes. For any additional work Sears always lets you know exactly how long you will be waiting and, should you choose to leave, communicates via phone to let you know how things are going. Perhaps most important, their staff is friendly and is quick to take ownership should anything unexpected occur. I work with the public as well and this is just poor customer service. Very disappointing. More
I scheduled my routine maintenance online where it said they offered a shuttle service for the local area. When I got there, I found out that this was not the case. Next time, I'm going to try the dealer they offered a shuttle service for the local area. When I got there, I found out that this was not the case. Next time, I'm going to try the dealer in West Springfield, MA. A co-worker of mine was happy with their service, and reports that they do provide a shuttle service so I can get to work while they work on the car. More
Rich, Mary Jane, and Roger are the best service reps I have ever worked with. They are honest, upfront, and friendly. They make a point to get to know you and make you feel welcome whenever you go in for have ever worked with. They are honest, upfront, and friendly. They make a point to get to know you and make you feel welcome whenever you go in for service. They cheerfully supply a loaner car when my car is in for the once a year major service. This has been wonderful and saved me much hassle tracking down rides. I have two cars serviced at Gale and have been a customer for over 10 years. I highly recommend Gale Toyota service. More
