Refusal of Work on my Avalon I have a 2013 Avalon which I did not purchase from Galaxy, but they have done repairs on it prior to bringing it back. Being that the vehicle is in t I have a 2013 Avalon which I did not purchase from Galaxy, but they have done repairs on it prior to bringing it back. Being that the vehicle is in the process of the Lemon Law for Structural issues, I bought it back being I live 10 miles away. The issues are the inside headliner keeps coming down, and the speakers are blowing out. Galaxy repaired the Headliner 2 weeks ago, and when I put the Sunroof back the air comes in and pulls it down, so I bought it back as directed to be told they were waiting for the Toyota Engineer to come. I am still waiting, so I drove back there and spoke with Tim the Service Adviser, which in return directed me to the Service Manager, who told me they could not and will not touch my vehicle do to the fact it is in the Lemon Law Status. They are a Certified Toyota Dealership and I am leasing a Toyota product, now that is a xxxx Shame. I will "NEVER OWN OR RECOMMEND TOYOTA" to anyone period, not even Galaxy Toyota for turning me away, and sending back to World Toyota where it was purchased in Lakewood. Sincerely, A not happy Toyota owner. More
I recently scheduled an appointment with Jason for a 10k service. I was expecting a typical hard sell of additional services above the standard oil change. I got quite the opposite experience. Jason was service. I was expecting a typical hard sell of additional services above the standard oil change. I got quite the opposite experience. Jason was very courteous and explained the services he was performing and pointed out a nail I had in one of my tires. The service was completed in a timely manner. I enjoy the complimentary coffee and popcorn. Keep up the good work. More

I was in Jersey Shore for a business trip and my Prius broke down due to a faulty battery/inverter malfunction. I towed the vehicle to Galaxy Toyota and worked with Dean Nichols. From the beginning to the broke down due to a faulty battery/inverter malfunction. I towed the vehicle to Galaxy Toyota and worked with Dean Nichols. From the beginning to the end, I was completely satisfied with Dean's professionalism, attentiveness, and expertise. He gave me a loaner vehicle (another Prius) when the car was in service. Everything was covered under warranty. When I picked up the car, I probed the issue and Dean explained it to me thoroughly with respect and patience (English is my second language). The service that he provided was far superior than that of the dealerships in DC/Alexandria where I live and in Southern California where I purchased the vehicle. He is an asset to Galaxy Toyota and management should take note of his performance and outstanding customer service. More

they were absolutely horrible i sent my sisters car there to fix a simple flat tire saturday and had to wait over an hour for that, it was covered under toyota care but still an hour? so after that i drove t to fix a simple flat tire saturday and had to wait over an hour for that, it was covered under toyota care but still an hour? so after that i drove the car back to my house and by the end of the night the same tire was down to 5 psi... they are closed on sundays so i had to wait until today (monday) to bring it there....i called about 6 times in 2 hours each time spoke to a receptionist who transferred me to the service dept, but i kept being put on hold until the line just hung up.....that drove me crazy, so i just drove to the dealership and they said they could take care of it without an appointment but id have to wait up to 2 hours...for a simply flat...so i asked if they could have ask someone to take a look really quick because i know fixing a flat doesn't take more then about 10 minutes if you are really inexperienced. So they told me that they are too busy and i’d have to find a ride if i wanted to leave the car there, which i couldn’t so i called a local repair shop and they said they could take a look at it and fix it as soon as i brought it in....bottom line their service department is horrible...even the first time i brought the car there they were horribly rude. i wish i could have recorded the whole thing. well just wanted to write this to let some people know what they are in for hopefully they dont go through the same stuff i did. I went in for a oil change and a recall repair. The work took twice as long as they said it would take. They changed my oil, checked my fluid and rotated my tires; also repaired the floor mat recall on my R took twice as long as they said it would take. They changed my oil, checked my fluid and rotated my tires; also repaired the floor mat recall on my Rav4. The following day I was driving on a trip out of state and my windshield washer light came on. I stopped at a gas station to fill it up and I filled it up. The vehicle took the entire gallon. I'm wondering now if they even changed my oil or replaced my filter. I left a message with the service manager and it was never returned about this. They do not care about the customers. When Monmouth closes I hope this dealership goes out of business. If you're looking for a good Toyota dealership to get your work done avoid this Galaxy Toyota. As far as sales I would recommend going to the Freehold dealership (I saved about 2k off my Rav) as they will give you a better deal. Galaxy isn't very flexible on their prices because they think you won't go elsewhere to shop. More

While w April 19, 2011 I came to the dealership on April 16th because my 2007 Prius coded on Route 35 and I wanted the Toyota mechanics to fix it. While waiting for the diagnosis, I meandered into the new car showroom to see the new 2011 Prius, but there weren't any on the showroom floor. Mike DePonte asked me if he could help and I said "what no Prius'in the showroom"? He told me that they just sold the one on the floor but that there were more in the lot. He asked me if I was in the market for one. I asked him if he could perform a miracle. He asked why and I told him that my credit score was low. He asked me if I made all of the Toyota payments on time. I told him that even when I was unemployed for a whole year I made my payments on time. He then asked me if I had any down payment funds and I told him yes. I had a seat at his desk. He went into to see the Manager and in less than 5 minutes came out and told me that I would be going home in a brand new Prius today. Well, I nearly died. I was so happy, I can't begin to tell you. Words cannot express how ecstatic I was. He told me that the entire computer system on my 2007 Prius died and that it would cost $2,000.00 to fix. So when he told me I was going to get a new Prius he literally pulled me right out of the frying pan because I would have had to pay the price. I drive to work every day. After I signed all of the papers, he brought me into Bernie your Finance Director who explained the Gap and Service Protection Insurance. I want you to know that out of all the times I purchased a car, this experience, by far, was the absolute best. I drove home that day with a winter gray, 2011 Prius.I have given your dealership the highest recommendation possible because of the swift, professional, friendly and absolutely stress-free experience I had. I even had to thank the General Manager for his approval. I want you to know that even before I ever bought my first Toyota, I vowed never to buy an American car again because something always breaks on them within the first year (like the transmission). Whatever Galaxy Toyota does, never ever let talent like Mike DePonte get away from you. He is the best! More
