2nd Time Great Experience I went in to get the oil changed in my 2012 Quest S. Mickey Downing is always there, we were talking and he showed me a 2012 Quest SV with 20K LESS m I went in to get the oil changed in my 2012 Quest S. Mickey Downing is always there, we were talking and he showed me a 2012 Quest SV with 20K LESS miles than my van, plus bells and whistles. We dickered over price, I drove it home overnight, talked to the bank and decided it was too much, so I took it back. With Mickey's help, the price came down to what I could pay, PLUS they switched my almost new Michelin tires onto the "new" van. Mickey has always bent over backwards to help both my daugter and me with two recent car purchases. Should I decide I need another van or car, I will definitely go back to see Mickey Downing at Gainesville Nissan! More
Service is lacking...don't go here! I took my Murano here for an oil change and a knocking noise under the hood. I was told the noise was from worn parts and that the front ($325) & rear I took my Murano here for an oil change and a knocking noise under the hood. I was told the noise was from worn parts and that the front ($325) & rear ($570) motor mounts and the right & left control arms ($850) were in need of replacement. The $1,745 total included 7.5 hours of labor. The labor and tax were not broken down on the estimate. I asked what the hourly labor rate was and was told that it varies depending on the work that is being performed. I called another Nissan dealership which quoted me a lower price for after-market parts. Chris, the service advisor, told me he doesn't recommend after-market parts and agreed to give me a $150 discount. I approved the work at 10:30am and received a message that the car was ready at 3pm. That's 4.5 hours if the mechanic skipped lunch (not likely)! I tried calling back before my wife picked up the car. The receptionist transferred me to voice mail for both the Chris & the Service Manager at least a dozen times. No one returned my call and apparently there is no way to page anyone in service. If you need your Nissan serviced, do not take it here! More

Service: very expensive, rip off, parts cannot be found, they try to change everything that does not need to be changed, cheaters, they take all the money from you telling you this and this needs change etc. I had a special mechanic to check what they claimed needed to be changed, and he found they were mostly lies. Many Nissan parts cannot be found other than in dealerships, many recalls and problems arise, do not recommend any Nissan.Many computer issues have been reported and recalled, very costly repairs for many Nissan cars. My car stopped once in a while and they checked everything several times, I paid over $400 in two times, they said everything is fine. Electrical is good etc. Autozone found that the cable of the battery was loose... the simple thing to check first.., but this costs nothing to tighten...car never stopped after that... More
