I I went in for an AC repair on my used Yukon Denali that I bought at the dealership. They claimed it was out of warranty and a sensor had gone bad. It was ~$1000 repair because they had to remove the dashboard and they talked me into another $400 to repair sun damaged panel on top of dash that cracked. That's fine 4 yo car, expected. Get it back, AC blowing cold again. A few days later was cold (this was in the Spring) the heater was on in the morning and that afternoon it got hot and now cold was only blowing out of two right vents. Took it back to dealership to get fixed; they said it would be another ~$1000 because they would have to take the dashboard out again. Since it wasn't broken right when it left the garage then they wouldn't budge on the repair. I know that they didn't test heat and cold or else they would have noticed the vent actuator was getting stuck. There are screws missing in the dash which make the interior noisy on bumps; antennae on radio must have been dislodged, local channels don't come in the same anymore. Was mistake taking it there for repair but I was pretty loyal about going to the dealership for everything but wont go there again. More

Diligently I priced the service from various dealers and service providers... a habit I picked up in my career, at least three preferably five. Gainesville Buick and GMC was extremely competitive, their service people are very helpful and friendly and our vehicle is always well taken care of. Since relocating to Gainesville they have become our service provider of choice... we are happy customers! More

A young lady by the n I called and scheduled an appointment for my 2013 Terrain with Michelle who was very helpful. Upon my arrival to my appointment. A young lady by the name of Jessie appear to be overwhelm with work which she voiced. I asked her if a sales person could giving me an overview of my vehicle features. She asked did I buy the vehicle here I told her no but it was my intentions to bring the vehicle here for service if I liked the service I was given. I told her that I owned a 2005 camry for 12 years and I only took that vehicle to the toyota dealership for service and it was my intention to do the same with this vehicle. She said they might do it if they are not busy but snice you didn't buy the vehicle from here they may not. She did provide fast service for my vehicle's oil change and tire rotation. As I being to leave I decided to stop and ask a sales rep to help me with the vehicle features at that time I met a nice man name AL who really knew the vehicle and help me get a better understanding of the vehicle features I really appreciate what he did to help me and he didn't give me attitude because I didn't buy the vehicle from there. He used wisdom and he understood that if I brought the vehicle there for service I would be back based on how I was treated. Because of him I will be back for service I only brought my vehicle there because I did read the customers reviews and I was impressed. Thank you Mr. AL for your help!!! Iamdalaw More

We barely made it off of the interstate and luckily got to the dealership. It was on a Saturday and they could not look at it until Monday. They provided us a vehicle to use and we were contacted Monday morning with the bad news that the transmission was bad. Ultimately Pat Breheim, our service person, determined that a complete unit would be required. After some wrangling by Pat the manufacturer that builds the parts for that transmission for Buick was held responsible and that there would be no cost to us! Throughout the few days that we were involved in the process Pat called us and kept us up to date several times each day. Pat, the transmission technician, and all of the people involved in our dilemma treated us personally as if we were family. Pat Breheim is an absolute gem. His kind of people are hard to find these days. He is professional, very knowledgable and adds a personal touch to his job. My wife and I were truly blessed to be able to have Pat Breheim and the dealership in Gainesville resolve our issue. More

His people skills are to be commended and I am just grateful to him for helping me with Manna (my 2013 Chevrolet Spark) even after 3 months of purchase. Whatever problem I have with the car, he is the first person that I contact and he is never tired of helping me. Such a person is rare in this world and when you do find one, he/she is to be rewarded handsomely. Thank you for everything Al!! You rock!! More

BUYER BEWARE of this dealership/staff. They were extremely dishonest in all respects of their customer service and servicing. They held our car over the course of 4 days, lied to us why, we They were extremely dishonest in all respects of their customer service and servicing. They held our car over the course of 4 days, lied to us why, we found out that they damaged the rear breaks and they never disclosed it to us and they tried to cover it up by waiting on parts for it, never telling us the truth. It was unauthorized work. We explicitly asked for all the old parts that they replaced back, only returned parts that could not be reconditioned. Parts that could be inspected were not returned, mind you these were still our property. They conveniently "lost them. "One of the parts had nothing wrong with it. After I took a closer look at the invoice a lot of red flags went up. A lot of the parts GMC bought from the NAPA store. Called Gainesville Napa, it was discovered that GMC had marked up some parts by 300%, 250%, 70%. GMC is making more than the NAPA store on the parts and all GMC does is have the NAPA truck drop off the parts and GMC takes of the NAPA price sticker and gives it the unsuspecting customer who is most likely in a bind to begin with at a new improved sky high price. Imagine they do this everyday to everyone, it's free money for nothing, what an operation, this is how they make their living. Than I looked at the hours they supposedly worked on our car, were their supposed "best mechanic" that damaged the parts before worked on the car. After consulting with other auto shops in Florida it was revealed that the supposed 4.5 hours of work at $107 per hour should have been done in 2 hours. It's very hard to catch them cheating on hours because they block you from observing the vehicle and the staff is constantly lieing and giving run-around on what is really going on. Then trying dealing with the staff once you comforted them with all these irregularities. Their service manager Tom Lacey will get defensive, try to give you run-around, talk over you, shout at you, and finally hang up the phone. Then if you try calling back the entire staff will simultaneously collude against you to drop your call, yell at you, lie that the GM Chis is in a meeting and always not there. The GM will deliberately have his phone staff take a message and never return the call. The service staff Ian Roberts hanged up the phone on us and said, "we are the problem." Kim, the service consulate, will pick up the phone and act like she doesn't hear you and hang up the phone. How is anyone suppose to deal with a circus staff like this. They took advantage of us because we don't know a lot about cars. Too many red flags to be assured of anything, classic horror story people have with the auto-mechanic. I encourage everyone with similar issues to not hesitate to file complaints with the state attorney, the Better Business Bureau. They have to be accountable to somebody for these unethical practices. We all have to work to make a living it's not fair for Gainesville GMC to sit back and pad their hours and mark up NAPA's parts to make their living. I can not stress how untrustworthy this dealership and General Manager Chris are. Their motto, "It's All About You" is a complete sham and false. To further add insult to injury GM Chris made us an offer to resolve all our problems. However, once we made a deal we took care of our end of the agreement within hours. Then GM Chris double-crossed us and began to avoid us, not return our calls, and basically go back to playing games with us. It wasn't until a week and half later when we were finally able to track the hoodwinking GM Chris when we found out that he had double-crossed us and had gone back on his word, when we said that this was not the deal he called us confused.GM Chris admitted that he didn't want what happened to us to happen to others. When we told him we refuse to be tricked and double crossed GM Chris hung up the phone on us. More
