As I stated, a new paint job a refurbishment does not make. Electrical problems up the wazoo. No horn, no brake lights, no license plate lights, No charging (runs on battery only). Mechanical problems: Shocks actually screwed in place so they would not make noise. gas pedal sticks in accelerator position ( almost crashed) , turns right when you release the steering wheel. Brackets mounted in wrong position and will need re-welding. Clutch cable frozen in place. Had to tow it to a mechanic who specializes in this car. Says it will take 2-4 weeks and $$$ to undue the BS that was done to this car. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY More

I couldn' I am an experienced car collector. Late this past summer I became interested at two antique Ford cars consigned for sale at GR Auto Gallery. I couldn't decide which to buy so I made an offer for both. After some time we agreed on price and now they are both home here in my garage. I am delighted with the cars and the good experience I had purchasing them. Everyone at GR Auto Gallery treated me courteously. They accurately represented the 70 and 90 year old cars that I chose and they were welcoming and accommodating when I performed my own inspection of the cars on site. As we negotiated price and terms, they represented the consigning seller well, working to obtain the best deal for their client, while also treating my offers fairly. A tough balancing act! I respected their handling, and as a result I think I would be comfortable consigning a vehicle for sale at GR Auto Gallery someday too. Paperwork was expertly prepared by Liz Burke and vehicle delivery was performed just right by the GR Auto Gallery staff. Overall a 5-star purchase experience for which I am grateful. My thanks again to everyone at GR Auto Gallery and especially to sales representative Ralph Suk, a good man who did a fine job for everyone. More

Brendan was extremely helpful through all phases of my transaction (initial inquiry / Q&A / Contract / Trade-In / Shipment to/from NY). Brendan did a great job accurately representing the car went above and beyond to ensure the purchase went smooth. To facilitate my purchase I also traded in an old Ford to GR that that was shipped from NY to their shop in Detroit. In all my years of buying nice cars this is the first one I bought without actually seeing the vehicle and kicking the tires…it was all done long distance, online, and through emails, which required a leap of faith. I could not be more pleased with the vehicle I purchased, and I could not be more impressed with the people at GR Gallery. They are very professional, honest and they delivered the car and the paperwork in a timely manner as promised. I am giving them a 5 star rating, only because there is not a 6 star category. Worst buying experience Buyer beware! This review is for the Commerce location. I recently bought a car from this location and right from the beginning, they were trying to p Buyer beware! This review is for the Commerce location. I recently bought a car from this location and right from the beginning, they were trying to play me. It's a shame that most of you are looking for that one car you've wanted most of your life and they will feed on that, knowing that they don't know half of what's wrong with the vehicles, but they will advertise it based on false or misleading information. I personally looked at the car and had an appraisal done and I could see, based on the repairs it was going to need and what I couldn't see, that they were over pricing the car by $30,000 to $35,000. This is based on NADA and personal experience with older cars. They were not willing to negotiate with me the realistic issues with the car. They only want their money out of it at the cost of suckers like us. Yes, I bought the car with a bitter taste in my mouth because the car is rare and hard to find. So far, I have spent close to $10,000 in repairs that I could do myself, but it will still need another $10,000 to $15,000 in repairs to fix what they don't know or don't tell you about. That doesn't even include a new paint job that it will need!Also, during the buying process, they were to get the convertible top operating and fix the rear window switch which was part of the deal. They did get the top working, but failed to get the rear window switch done, even though they told me it had been fixed. I asked to put the vehicle on a hoist for me and they wouldn't let me do that either. Plus, the fact that the previous owner would sell the car knowing what it needs and not disclosing it and from what I have found since I have had it, this car was sadly neglected and just driven into the ground. Bottom line, be careful what you are looking at and even with an appraisal, things aren't what they seem. Shady business and shady people! Again, the worst car buying experience of my life! Good luck to all of you. Don't let the pictures fool you! Funny! At one point the sales person claimed not to be a mechanic, that's fine. But, if you're going to be in the business of selling classic cars to people with a lot of money involved, you would think that the people in this business would do their homework and be more knowledgeable on what they are selling!
