Airbag Recall Repair Caused Additional Costly Damage I brought my vehicle to Fulton Ford for an airbag recall repair. Following the repair, my sound system was severely damaged. Loud static is emitted, I brought my vehicle to Fulton Ford for an airbag recall repair. Following the repair, my sound system was severely damaged. Loud static is emitted, even when the stereo system is turned off. The dealership did not claim responsibility. The dealership recommended a diagnostic, which I paid (approximately $100), then a new battery (approximately $150), reprogramming (approximately $150) and an antennae module (approximately $250). After all recommendations, the issue has yet to be resolved. The dealership is now stating a new computer system (approximately $1,100) is necessary, which will also have to be paid by me. The stereo system issue was not present before the airbag recall repair. This ordeal has been ongoing for over a month now, which has seen me without my vehicle (in shop for repair) for half that time. This has been a terrible experience with Ford/Lincoln; and it has not yet been resolved, while I am at this point out of approximately $600 for what was originally a free recall. The loud, unstoppable static is very distracting while driving and presents a hazard, potentially greater than driving with a faulty airbag. It makes me regret having the airbag recall repair. Receipts have been kept for all work that has been completed to date. My belief is that Lincoln/Ford should be held responsible for all costs and inconveniences this ordeal has caused me. More

Simple phone call would have done wonders. Dropped off my vehicle on Sunday evening, was to pick up Wednesday. They don't treat regular customer great even though I had purchased several used vehicles from them in past. Recently I had tried negotiate on other used vehicle but it get to nowhere. At the end I had to walked away with disgusted feeling for how they treat toward their regular customer. More
