The dealership service department applied inspect and clean/reassemble procedure on my focus EV to eliminate the spurious latch-in of an “emergency stop fault”. The fault has returned. Two weeks later clean/reassemble procedure on my focus EV to eliminate the spurious latch-in of an “emergency stop fault”. The fault has returned. Two weeks later and $900 poorer I need a fix for this apparent software glitch problem. Whatever the source of this fault is it does not seem to be associated with any loss of function/serviceability of the vehicle. . (Upon reset, all ok/ no problems). I need software support. As a design engineer I need to understand the signal source of this fault declaration. Please help. More

My new Edge had issue with not accelerating smoothly after slowing down. I called Leo, who has been my service advisor for years, Leo helped me thru this process to have it diagnosed and fixed.
