The salesman will lie and tell you everything you want to hear to close the deal, then not make it right when you catch them in a lie. My husband found a vehicle online and worked with Max Grubbs to secure the purchase. Everything about the deal was a lie from the get go. We were told the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon we were purchasing was stock and could be sold to us as certified. When it got to the dealership from a sister dealership it was discovered it had a two inch lift, but still stock tires…so it could still be sold certified as long as we paid the $1000 fee to upgrade to certified. We were worried about moving forward because we knew if a vehicle had been modified from factory that it could be sold certified, but Max reassured us that his team said it was good to go, we just needed to pay the $1000 and everything would be good. We did not want to pay the $1000, so Max offered to throw in season home tickets to the TT Red Raider game. Being Red Raider Alumni this was something my husband considered. He asked if the tickets were on the home side of the stadium and Max replied yes. He told my husband they were on the home side, 50 yard line. So after further negotiating, my husband told him, they had a deal and set up delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle was supposed to be washed, detailed, full of fuel and def and trailed to our place….3 hours away from Lubbock. It finally arrived 2 days after it was suppose to, at a time we specifically told the salesman we would not be home…. dirty, not full of fuel and def and not on a trailer, and defiantly not factory tires. Not only did it have a two inch lift, it also had 37 inch tires (instead of 33inch that comes stock). At that point we should have just sent it back, but the vehicle was everything we wanted minus the lift and the tires, so my husband reached out to Max and he assured us they would make everything right, so on good faith we signed the papers and purchased the vehicle. WRONG…list of lies only grew from there! It’s been 5 weeks since the purchase of our vehicle and none of the issues that were promised to make right have been fixed even after reaching out to Max multiple times. We never received promised paper work showing that the vehicle was sold certified. After multiple phone calls trying to get our plates, tags and season tickets we finally drove to Lubbock and picked them up ourselves. Then to add insult to injury we decided to use our season tickets yesterday and turns out that the promised home side, 50 yard line seats are actually on the visitors side, above the student section at the very top. Being a bit upset, my husband reached out to Max, send him a screenshot of their conversation during the dealing process regarding the tickets….and all Max had to say to him was sorry man, their all home game tickets, not home side and we’re all out of tickets. He then told him he would see what he could do….which at this point in the process, we have learned that means NOTHING! We have learned our lesson and will NEVER do business with Frontier Dodge EVER AGAIN! More
Very good guest service skills: very polite and professional at all times. At my arrival the service department was busy so my wait was a little long ( over an hour) professional at all times. At my arrival the service department was busy so my wait was a little long ( over an hour) More
