The Friendship Honda of Boone has been a nightmare to deal with after amazing experience while buying my new 2019 CRV. After buying it you can forget about friendly service. Two tires are slick with my car just turning 14,000 miles on it and I spent over a week being tossed around from Chad Price the manager who told me three different times he was going to call the tire company and call me back and I have still not heard back from him. I called the tire company myself and was told they do not warranty tires on a new vehicle. I would have to go through the dealership. I called the dealership back and of course was told after two or three calls later and a few lies , I was finally told by the manager in the service department that the tires are not under warranty with the car either. My front tires will need replaced by winter so I basically have a car with very few miles with slick tires that I am going to have to replace myself. It would not have been as bad if the main manager of the dealership had not lied to me and had called me back. I called him back and he told me it was my place to contact the tire company and do the paperwork. I informed him that I had already called the tire company and they told me it was up to the dealership where I got my car to do the paperwork. He said they are telling us two different stories and he was going to call them back and give me a call back as soon as he talked to them. He has never called me. I ended up going to the Ford company in Boone and they checked my tires and measured them and filled out the paperwork for me. Did not help but, I was told that the ford company would have put a brand new set of tires on my car with that low of miles because they want to keep their customers happy. I will be going to the Ford dealership to buy my next car. Never will I recommend anyone to buy a car at Friendship Honda again. More
Service department is the worst experience in years I have been a customer at this Honda dealership for over 20 years. The Friendship honda dealership has the worst service department ever! I am honestl I have been a customer at this Honda dealership for over 20 years. The Friendship honda dealership has the worst service department ever! I am honestly considering buying a different brand because of the way this dealership has treated me in the last few years. VERY disappointed with this Friendship Honda dealer service department. DO not take your vehicle there. They will lie about anything! More
Used truck Bought a used truck and had some issues with it The charging system. Which they were supposed to look at before I took it off the lot. But of course it was closing time and they told me to bring it back if I had any problems. Two weeks later it started doing it again and called and talk to the sales manager and he said there was no warranty but my sticker on the side the window said 30 days or 3000 mile warranty. Finally after I called and raise Cain they made me a price the alternator and pick it up at napa And I put it on myself. A week later I started having the same troubles. So I called back and they said they would call me back never heard nothing so I took the truck back and at this time I demanded them to fix it. They gave me a rental car I kept the truck for two days called me back and said it was ready that the Chevy dealership could not find nothing wrong they checked the PCM and a module which me being a mechanic you can’t check a PCM . So the truck is still doing the same thing I spent $17,000 for a truck that I can’t depend on and now I got a fix it myself. And that’s not even all of it when I got the truck home he said it was a Z 71 and of course I check the Vin number and it was not a Z 71 the pictures online that they showed showed he had a Tono cover I asked about it and they said the customer come back and got it why would they show pictures of it. And also the salesman said he was going to fill it up with gas and put only half a tank of gas in. He also said if I didn’t finance through them that they would charge me an additional $500. This was the second vehicle I have bought from them and would not recommend nobody going there. Friendship is not a name for this place because they sure did make me feel like I come out being a winner the sales manager needs to find a different position like cleaning bathrooms. More

Great Service! I'm a Boone native, but moved to Colorado 6 years ago. I was on the hunt for a new car and Bill helped me get everything arranged. I bought the car while in Colorado, and despite the distance, they made everything very easy to arrange. They were honest about the cars condition, maintenance records, and previous owners. I drove it back to Colorado and couldn't be happier. Bill was in constant communication with me, and very friendly. I've always heard about the "dealership nightmares", but it was the exact opposite for the Boone location. I highly recommend this dealership! More
Good sales, Mediocre Service I've bought two Hondas from Friendship. No problem with the sales staff. Service is unsatisfactory. After 8 years of servicing our 2 Hondas purchas I've bought two Hondas from Friendship. No problem with the sales staff. Service is unsatisfactory. After 8 years of servicing our 2 Hondas purchased from Friendship, we ran into a serious problem with our Pilot. After failing to fix the problem, they then tried to triple the cost of the repair. Buy a car there if you want. But get your own mechanic after the warranty runs out. More
Fair, Honest and Reasonable Prices on a New Car October, 29, 2015 To all whom this may concern, We recently decided to purchase a new Honda CRV and we dealt with John Cook at Friendship Hond October, 29, 2015 To all whom this may concern, We recently decided to purchase a new Honda CRV and we dealt with John Cook at Friendship Honda in Boone, North Carolina. John Cook, was our original contact while investigating the particular make, model and color of the car we were interested in. We also took the time to compare prices with other dealerships in the area. We found that Johnson City Honda in Johnson City would do anything to get a customer in the door, but were not able to deliver the model and color we went there see and possibly purchase. In the end after asking us to wait for and making excuses for several days, Johnson City Honda Failed to deliver any of their now empty promises. I will NEVER EVER again deal with Johnson City Honda! BUT in Boone at Friendship Honda we found the staff there accommodating, straight forward, willing to deal to what we felt was a FAIR and HONEST price for a 2015 Honda CRV, Touring model. Our first sales representative John Cook, dealt with us in a forthright, kind manner and was willing to answer our questions even though he knew we were looking at other dealerships. John Cook and all the Staff at Friendship Honda of Boone, North Carolina have earned our loyalty and we would most definitely purchase a new car from them again in the future. Bruce and Nancy C. More
