if I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. BUYER BEWARE!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! I paid off the balance of my truck. Once they received the payment, their account BUYER BEWARE!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! I paid off the balance of my truck. Once they received the payment, their accountant (I believe her name is Angela), confirmed receipt of the payment and said she was going to mail the 2nd key that they were holding on to until we paid off the loan. On December 27th, I received the envelope, and to my horror the envelope was flat and I noticed that there was a clean slit at the bottom of the envelope. They mailed my key in a regular letter envelope without any security measures. Anyone would have been able to tell that there was a key in the envelope, especially since their company name was listed as the return address. I was frantic because not only did someone have my key, but they also have my address and could come to my home at any time and steal my truck. I sent an email to them that evening and also called Jesse, my salesperson. I spoke to Jesse and explained the situation as well as sent pictures of how the envelope arrived. He admitted that it was negligent of the company to have mailed the key that way and that they have been unhappy with the accountant for making many mistakes. He then told me that he will call back after he tried to get a hold of Angela and Tony (the owner). He called back after speaking with the owner and the owner claimed that it wasn't their fault once it left their hands and that it is the fault of the postal service. Jesse, kept apologizing because he understood that the accountant was negligent in securing the key, he even mentioned that he could have dropped it off at my home since he knew where I lived and didn't live too far. That evening, I went driving around looking to find a steering wheel lock in hopes that it would deter someone from stealing my truck. I bought it at WalMart for $20 and also paid a key technician $130 to reprogram my truck and issue me new keys. I am also asking to be reimbursed for their random $100 additional charge that he made up because I didn't pay my loan off on time. If they already charged me for late fees, then why does he get to add $100 just because he feels like it? It would have only cost them under $20 to put the key in a secured bubble-lined envelope and pay for tracking and/or sign-on delivery. They have been negligent with other issues, but was willing to let that go when I finally thought I was done with them. They have mishandled my account concerning late fees and blamed it on their system. Outside of Jesse, they are VERY unprofessional! There are too many dealerships to deal with such bad service and a shady business owner. More

So the tire The car starts to shake at 60 mph. Had the car only a week. I'm at tire kingdom in Apopka because my friend didn't feel safe in my car. So the tires were all different sizes and splitting. So I called to let them know what was going on. So the person I talked to when i called he told me that they had the car for 2 months and drove it on the highway and it never shook. My response was "So your calling me a liar" very upset about the situation. More

The salesman said that they have a mechanic that goes through all the cars and fixes all issues. After purchasing the car I took it to Deland Nissan and had it checked out. The windshield washer fluid container was cracked, tmone tire had a slow leak and the rack and pinion was leaking, and the AC which they said was ice cold lasted one day. If they have a mechanic either he does not know anything about vehicles or the owners refuse to allow him to fix anything. If you are going to buy a car DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Very dishonest individuals. More
Rude, and WAY overpriced!! Go somewhere else!! We went into Orange City Motors in search of a car for my husband. They weren’t willing to disclose any details about their interest rates, financing, We went into Orange City Motors in search of a car for my husband. They weren’t willing to disclose any details about their interest rates, financing, or details on the car until we were filling out the paper work. Getting prices on their vehicles was like pulling teeth and we found it easier to look online for their pricing instead of asking their staff. Once we settled on a Honda Civic, David, the sales rep tried to sell us the car for more than the online listed price. When we questioned him, he told us that financing the vehicle instead of paying cash added $1000 to the price of their vehicles (not talking about the price of financing). After beginning the paper work, we learned that their deposits and monthly payments were very high. We also learned that they charge the highest interest rate allowed legally. We needed a car and had already gone this far, so we put $100 down cash, with the agreement that they would repair the rattle in the engine and we would return to put down $1,500 more. (Note: almost ALL of the cars had noticeable issues, and it was explained to us that they make the repairs once they find a buyer!) My husband called them and asked if they would be able to work with $1350 down payment instead, or if we could work something else out, as we had to prepare for the raise in insurance, and adjust to an unexpected financial burden. The sales associate, David, yelled "That's not what we agreed on, deals off, if you want your $100 come in and get it!" and then hung up! We were shocked and disgusted with the response and headed up to the store to get our refund. Once we got there, they refused to give the refund to us, not only that, but the vehicle wasn't even there! My husband and I were calm throughout the whole process. When my husband asked why David told us to come in and get our refund on the phone, David became irate. He yelled "I didn't tell you that, I told you to come talk to us about your refund" (which was NOT true!) in my husband's face. When I say he yelled, I mean it! David was so close to my husband’s face that pieces of his spit landed on his cheek. My husband was shocked and said "I am not raising my voice at you; you don't need to yell at me" David threw his hands in the air and said "I'm done with you. You're making me look like an idiot" and pushed through the two of us to the door. This was all in front of a lobby full of people. I had had enough and said "let's just go", and we left. I found it suspicious that the car wasn't at the lot when we got there, so later; I went online to see if it was still listed on their site, but it was already gone, and it hasn’t been there since. They had already sold the car. That is why David was so quick to dismiss us and he hung up on us, which effectively ended any negotiations regarding the car that we paid $100 for, yet never even drove home. We simply called to see if anything could be worked out to be more within our budget, but when we were yelled at, hung up on, and treated like garbage, we lost all interest in doing any type of business with this company. At that point, we just wanted our $100 back. We never filled out the final paper work. They never gave us the keys or completed any transfer paper work. We never even drove the car home, but they kept our $100 anyway. Had the sales representative showed any amount of respect or professionalism towards my husband and me, we would have been more than willing to pull the money together to make the rest of the down payment or possibly apply the $100 towards the down payment of a different vehicle. Unfortunately, the way that David spoke to us confirmed that they only care about money, customers don’t matter, and doing business with Orange City Motors would easily result in future experiences like this one. We were told on the phone to come in and get our $100. That is why we showed up for it in the first place. We didn’t come by so that we could be called liars and yelled at in front of a lobby full of customers by their sales rep. I'm counting my blessings that I only lost $100 and am not tied to a contract with them! Once we left their lot, we drove to a different buy here pay here, and the difference was night and day. The dealer was up front and honest with us. He sold vehicles for a reasonable rate, with reasonable payments, a lower interest rate and all of the issues on the car had been taken care of already. You don’t have to shop at Orange City Motors... They are greedy and unprofessional! Save yourself the headache and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! More
Broken Promise I bought a 2007 Pontiac G6. When I test drove the car, there was a clicking noise coming from under the right dash. David, the salesman, told me tha I bought a 2007 Pontiac G6. When I test drove the car, there was a clicking noise coming from under the right dash. David, the salesman, told me that it would be fixed (before I even asked). I liked the car and agreed to buy it expecting that the noise would be fixed. When I came to pick up the car, it was not making the noise. David said something about pushing the recirculate button to get rid of the noise. The next day, it was clicking again. In my opinion, pushing some buttons to stop the clicking may be a "work around" but it is not a "fix". After I had the car for a few days, the AC stopped cooling (not the fault of Orange City Motors). So I took it to my mechanic (who is good but not cheap). In addition to fixing the AC cooling problem, he replaced the Recirc Door Actuator which was causing the clicking. I went back to Orange City Motors and complained that they had not done what they said they would do about the noise. They said they would not do anything because I had bought is "as Is". So, if you choose to buy a car from Orange City Motors, be sure that they fix (to your satisfaction) everything that they say they will before you accept delivery. More
Horrible experience Went to purchase a vehicle for my family so we settled on a minivan, drove the vehicle less than 2 months and had to fully refill the vehicle with o Went to purchase a vehicle for my family so we settled on a minivan, drove the vehicle less than 2 months and had to fully refill the vehicle with oil, popped the hood, the van was leaking oil from everywhere it could possibly leak. Would recommend to stay far far away from this dealer. The owner doesn't care about his vehicles or his customers. If you do decide to look for a car here, get everything the owner says in writing!! he'll say hes going to do something then turn around and deny he ever made such an agreement or that he said it at all, but be prepared for a huge mechanic bill when you get the vehicle.
