Sorry Mr Cline, I've read the correspondence between my sales rep and you and I've reviewed the quote. It's my understanding that you are located in Kansas and never set foot in our dealership. It's very hard to give exact numbers on a trade-in that we can not see. You seemed displeased with the amount we were giving you for the trade-in. The bait and switch is when advertise $27,350 for 2017 Ford Mustang gt fastback on www.autotrader.com ,www.cars.com then you get a quote over $32,025Just be honest with people and leave off the rebates and only include the ones everyone qualifies for .My trades worth $13,000 as I had it appraised at carmax .You low balled it at $9,000 never asked for pictures .You adding on dealer add ons wheel locks $199,Nitrogen $299,Premier Guard Blue Steel for a $35,000 out the door price . You could of clearly made an easy $2,000 or more off trade in the resell . Its strange none of these dealer add ons are not on the quote without the trade .You are clearly padding the bill.If you would sell your cars for less you would make more in volume and have repeat buisness.By lying and misleading the customer You loose the customer for life and they spread word about your buisness practices.The old ways of dealerships running buisness is over.Anyone can find out online your invoice ,holdback along how long a car has been on your lot.Transparency is only way dealerships will survive in this market.
