Service department couldn’t figure out why my engine light keeps coming on & now they won’t return my calls. Great. On star figured out the problem in less than 5 minutes. Misdiagnosed the problem with my vehicle. I brought my vehicle in because I had a "service rear axle" warning light appear on my dash. They charged me $130.00 to tell me what was wrong and th I brought my vehicle in because I had a "service rear axle" warning light appear on my dash. They charged me $130.00 to tell me what was wrong and that it would cost me $1760.00 to repair it. They also told me that my warranty would not cover it. What they told me did not make any sense to me at all so I brought my vehicle somewhere else for a second opinion and got a totally different answer. Glad I did! My warranty covered the repair at the second shop I brought it too (and was a totally different diagnosis). So, had I let Friendly Chev do the 1700.00 repair, it wouldn't have fixed the problem. I just recently moved back to this area and am disappointed that I feel like I can't bring any of my vehicles to them again. What a COMPLETE WASTE OF $130.00!!!! More
