I came to look at a truck, it sold when I got there,no big deal but the response I got was. "sorry dude I will call you if I see something similar", basically saying goodbye you can leave now. I may not dress as a business man but I am on the higher end of the income scale! Getting that response was absurd Seems they judge by your clothing and age! Good luck with these sales men better ware your 3 piece suit.I have also heard this from other people saying they will never be back neither will I! There where other vehicles I was interested in but not now I will spend my money elswhere. Dont judge the book by it's cover. More
Wally and I were e-mailing back and forth for a few weeks and it was nice to see that he was really interested in what I wanted, when I got to the dealership he was just as friendly in person as he was onlin and it was nice to see that he was really interested in what I wanted, when I got to the dealership he was just as friendly in person as he was online and over the phone, I had already selected the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu that I was interested in online prior to getting there so we took it out for a spin got back and then dealt with the finance part which is always a nightmare but actually went very smoothy thanks to Manny working so hard to get me into this Malibu, I really had a great experience no pressure at all. I had to search for a Suburban to meet my criteria. The Fridley Dealership did not have a Suburban that I liked. I recently bought a 2005 Impala from the Bargain Lot. Dana Pitann was helpful in selecting the car with me. However the used car manager "low balled" the value of my trade in car He also told me the Impala I was getting was "the best car for the price" on his lot so he could not offer me more for my trade in. The Impala seemed to drive OK during the test drive. BUT just 3 days later I noticed the transmission would slip/jerk terribly at times. I took it to a transmission shop to be diagnosised. I contacted Dana and told him the issue with the car's transmission. He told me to keep him posted. Since it was already in the transmission shop I decided to let an outside transmission shop fix the problem. The transmission was bad and needed to be replaced. I tried contacting the Used Car Manager, Rob Owens but I was ignored. Over the years I HAD bought many cars from Friendly Fridley but they have now lost me as a future customer. It seems sad I have to put in over $2000 in a car just 3 days after purchasing it. And it's sad I was basically ignored by the used car manager. It's even sadder that this vehicle was their "best" used car. If the Impala was their "best" vehicle one has to wonder the quality of their other used cars.It is also bad how they treatrd meas a repeat customers. So if you are looking for a good quality used car I would recommend that you buy it somewhere OTHER than Friendly Fridley. My most recent experience was a bad one. . More
