NOT quibbling on the price of my purchase vehicle was understood. The quibbling was over my TWO trade-ins: one upsidedown Elantra, the other trade-in was my free n clear, spotless and excellent condition F150 Lairet. I needed a bigger truck for my purpose. I felt hounded and actually got in my Lariet to drive away and scratch the whole thing, with some 4 or 5 salesmen and service and whoever found the conversation 'entertaining to listen to just standing around myself and the Iraqi-Vet employee. Being a Woman Veteran, I felt like I was "In Country" and being interrogated Feeling like i was in the den of a wolf pack, they finally budged some $500 more on my trade-in truck. THAT is where the dickering came in. You have the power on the trade-ins, but they don't quite add up unless you relentlessly push for it.... it was after-hours when they pushed until i had no more patience or energy. They were not very friendly at all.' More

As in the prior transaction, Chris provided so much knowledge and expertise about our vehicle of choice, its like he studied the vehicle specs. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was very customer oriented and was concerned about what was best for us - what a great sales person! We found the Traverse we were looking for, got a great price for our trade-ins and never felt we were being cheated like some dealership do. GREAT job Chris! Great job Friendly Chev, this is what will set you apart from the others. I highly recommend working with the great folks here, from sales to finance, they were all wonderful. Great Experience with Friendly Chevrolet Wow, what an experience! My family was recommended to work with Rob Owens and from that first phone call, I knew it would be a great relationship. He Wow, what an experience! My family was recommended to work with Rob Owens and from that first phone call, I knew it would be a great relationship. He set us up with Jimmy Rowe, who took us through all of the features on the used Traverse cars we were interested in. We had the kids in tow and he was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and pretty awesome with helping us find the right one. I got a great deal for my trade, thanks to Rob, and working with the finance department was painless, efficient and very easy. Less than three hours later I was driving away in my brand new Chevy. I couldn't be happier, and I've never had a car experience like this before. Just hoping to continue the great relationship established and they will have me as a lifelong customer! More
Not willing to see whats wrong with my Truck! I love Friendly chev but lately they have been treating us like crap! Our 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3l Vortec has been blowing white smoke at startu I love Friendly chev but lately they have been treating us like crap! Our 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3l Vortec has been blowing white smoke at startup ever since 49,000 miles. Now its at 51,000 miles and still blows white smoke at startup. It only does it 25% of the time but when this first happened we checked the oil level and it was really low. Not sure exactly how low but it needed oil bad. The truck has also had a bad smell coming from the exhaust ever since 49,000 miles. Next time I go here I am probably going to throw a fit because they want us to do some kind of oil consumption test, and during the testing it never blew or consumed oil. One more thing to add is when every time I start the truck and it blows white smoke the engine ticks very loudly. I just hope someone could actually inspect our engine next time we visit! More

They don't care about the customer! I was in this morning at 6:30 to drop off the car for a recall on the infamous Ignition Switch. I picked up at 4:45. Date, June 2, 2014. I have left I was in this morning at 6:30 to drop off the car for a recall on the infamous Ignition Switch. I picked up at 4:45. Date, June 2, 2014. I have left messages with both the service manager and general; manager. While I am certain the work was done satisfactorily, friendly customer service is not part of the plan at this place. When I picked up my vehicle, I asked where the key was I dropped it off with. Apparently, we get new keys and they are required to discard the old ones. I wanted my old key back because I just had it made the day before, after waiting a few months for the Home Depot to have a blank, because I am supposed to use the key without a key ring attached. My answer has been to keep the key in the car and use another one to unlock the doors with. The whole process has been a pain, and has caused some problems as other family members have needed the car. Basically, I've been locked out a few times! Anyhow, I did not really have a problem with the key so much as the person who checked me out (the young lady cashier), who said, I don;t know. I just do this here. There was no offer to get a service person to discuss the work that was done, or any direction about where to ask. This young lady has a severe case of "I don't give a crapidous," which she may or may not be aware of. Regardless, it was first and last visit to Friendly Chevrolet. It may very well be a great place, but I am not aware of it, nor was I made aware of it when I was there. Most customers just want all of their questions answered respectfully before they complete their transaction, with perhaps a friendly "see you next time" attitude. This pretty much felt like because it was a recall, I was a burden to them and treated accordingly. I guess they save the friendly service for the paying customers. Thus the name, "Friendly Chevrolet" does not fit them well. What they do not realize is that one bad experience may be returned many times over if I never go there again for real service, or recommend them to anyone. Like I said, I am certain the work was done satisfactorily, though only time will tell. More
