Freindly advertised a 2020 new flat bed truck. I called several times to set up an appointment to come look at truck. Finally a week later they called and said truck was not available. They left one voicemail, the salesman talked so fast, you could not understand him. I believe they are posting these vehicles as bait. Always sold , when you call. Terrible experience, no management, unprofessional and unskilled service on all levels I have to say that dealing with this dealership is the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with a cars unskilled service on all levels I have to say that dealing with this dealership is the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with a cars and/or repair. When looking and purchasing a car from Friendly, you get the feeling that the customer experience will go beyond the actual transaction. Beware, after they have your money, you are no longer a priority to them. There is definitely nothing “Friendly” about this dealership and that is directed to any management, service coordinator down to the person answering the incoming calls. We purchased a Silverado brand new in 01/2020 and have had several issues. We have learned that our issues or problems with the car is not their concern. The first issues where we had the display telling us “do not drive vehicle” and THEY wanted us to bring the car in ourselves and not even offer a loan car. Secondly, we believe that there is pre-existing body damage to the car that no one wants to explain or offer to fix. We know something happened with this truck at the dealership because they accidently left partial paperwork in the truck. Third, we had about a 10-day argument about an issue with the radio and it not turning off. Their not so experienced service consultant told us that after we turned off the car, we then would need to turn the radio off separately. They ended up replacing the radio AFTER we had to replace the battery. Now, we are having an issue with the truck dying when while in park. This truck is only a year and a half old with 14,000 miles on it. We tried to call to get this in the shop with a loan car and we were told the best they could offer is a shuttle ride home and if we wanted a loan car it would be the first week of October (That’s over 3 months). These people at Friendly Chevrolet can not be bothered. The lack of knowledge and professionalism from management, service, sales and staff mind blowing. After you purchase a vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet, the dealership DOES NOT CARE about your purchase, your safety or your convenience. Please think again if you are planning on giving them your hard-earned money. You will be better off in the long run purchasing your car elsewhere. At the end of the day, MANAGEMENT does not care, if they did, they would not allow their dealership to be run like this. At this point, Corporate GM need to get involved with Friendly’s customer service and the experience of this dealership. Take the lesson from us…….. Not only being the Worst Dealership, they do not care about their customers on any level. Don’t waste your money here. More
I will never buy a car from here again. Bought a brand new Tahoe. It had to go to the shop 2 day we had it and then went back again 2 more times before they fixed it. The communication was not there, had to go get a rental car because they did not have any loaners. Which there whole deal is home of the Consier sevice with loaner cars. Then I went over the papers we signed and we were told we would be paying an extra $1500 for the extended warranty. Not the case it came to about $7800. Yes, we signed off because we assumed he put in there what we just talked about. He also rushed us through the process because it was closing time. I'm sorry but when you buy a $70,000 plus vehicle you would expect someone to go a little out of there way. Especially, when the vehicle goes in the second day and is gone for over a month between all the times we brought it in. We also live 1hr from the dealership. We understand nothing is perfect craps happens. However, if there was more communication and a little more effort I would not have to write this review. The extended warranty well half our fault for being trusting and letting him rush us. Just makes for xxxxxxxx feeling about there financing department. Mike our sales guy was the only one who really gave a hoot. More
Just want to share the experience I’ve had so far with the body shop department since it’s been an awful experience. So I dropped of my truck to get a repair done on a damage to the tailgate I dropped it off Tuesday 6/1/21 giving them my claim number and info they needed and was told they’ll take it from there called the next day or two since I haven’t received an update and was to they were waiting on the insurance to go out and look at the truck, then Friday 6/4/21 talked to Doug and let him know I didn’t have a rental so wanted to see if they can have it ready Farley quick because it was hard to get to work etc and he said they were still waiting on the insurance but if the insurance approved and issued payment that day he would have it ready mid week to end of the week so I went ahead and called my insurance and hurried them up to get this process going and insurance called me back within an hour saying payment was issued so now it was on the shop. So days went by and I finally called Wednesday to see what the update and Doug said it was in paint so that sounded good next day Thursday 6/10/21 called him again to see the update and once again he told me it was in paint that he was going to go check and would give me a call back shortly never called me back so I called a couple of times and no answer so I waited until the next day Friday 6/11/21 called in the morning and once again no answer so left a voice message for a call back and nothing so finally called and asked to speak to a manager to see if someone would answer and all of a sudden there was Doug somehow answered so I tell him hey I was waiting for a call all day yesterday and calling today and nothing so he answers me with an attitude “well it’s not done what do you want me to tell you it’s in paint right now” so I ask if it’s been in paint for over 3 days and says he can’t rush and he starts telling me that I’m putting the pressure on them just because I don’t have a rental and he said it like about 3 times like he was throwing it in my face and I mentioned to him it’s not that why would you tell a customer let me go check I’ll call you back and leave them hanging so giving me attitude he says you want your truck I’ll just take off the tailgate and have you come pickup your truck we will work on the tailgate without the truck so why would I have waited 2 weeks for me to take the truck without a tailgate he could’ve just said that from the beginning so I ask him well at least can you tell me when can you have the truck done and answers me with a “ I don’t know!” So how is that a guy with all the “experience” and in charge cannot tell how long it would take to complete a repair. I’ve yet to have the truck ready and already regret taking it there such a bad customer service as if I’m getting a free service never again taking my vehicles there for sure !!!! More
Without a doubt the worst Chevrolet dealership in the entire United States. And I have dealt with and bought many gm vehicles. I used this dealer for a parts install and regret it. They have horrible communication and poor customer service. I waited a week for my vehicle and had to call back repeatedly just to get an answer.
