Wifey and I purchased a 2023 Tahoe at 1:13pm Chevrolet Tahoe , it had a few miles on the truck. So after flying from Houston to Dallas to pick this Truck up. In which I had a $75,000 check in hand that process alone took 2 hours for no reason. This isn’t my first time doing this and the process was supposed to take 30 mins or less. Stranded on the side of the road after being only 63 miles from the dealership I noticed the air was leaving the vehicle at a rapid pace. 27 to 25 to 20 to 18 then I pulled over and didn’t see a nail in the tire. So I saw a sign for a gas station and barely made it there 18 to 10 to 8 to 2 and thank God I was pulling into the gas station. So after taking the tire off I noticed the tire valve was extremely loose on this brand new Chevy Tahoe yes a 2023! I was upset and missed my 5pm appointment because of this inconvenience. The friendly Chevrolet rep Pearla wasn’t very knowledgeable on the process of the check or how to keep a customer satisfied. I told her what happened and she didn’t care. She said call road side (in which they said a 2 hour wait), which is why I changed the tire (that was a struggle)! The truck has been in the shop for leaking trans fluid then oil 4 times. ***(Pearla responded about hrs later with the roadside assistance gesture, they knew we were flying out there to pickup the vehicle & they still weren’t prepared, & friendly Chevrolet wasn’t very friendly& communications were very different after the purchase was completed)! CALLED CHEVY 17 times no apology and none from the dealership. More
Was a big mistake to think friendly Chevrolet was a good place to take vehicle seeing that I purchased it there, I received a recall letter regarding my light engine and this was November of 2023.. advisor place to take vehicle seeing that I purchased it there, I received a recall letter regarding my light engine and this was November of 2023.. advisor Eduardo Cruz told me to purchase the parts and pay for service that was not done until parts come in and that would cover everything .. Till this day April 17-2024 I have not received a call or refund.. each time I call they don’t answer and give me the run around with some one will get with you but they don’t!!!!! If I could give a zero star I for sure would. More

Further, preceding this, the only information I received on this device was that it was software that allowed me to do extra things. I was not told it was an add-on tracking device. The car comes with OnStar for 3 years. I do not need an extra device. Additionally, the Privacy Policy of Ikon Connect is downright scary. In the 2023 Bolt EUV owners manual, on page 234, it SPECIFICALLY states that the DLC is not to have any sort of after-market fleet or driver-behavior tracking device as it may interfere with vehicle systems. This could affect vehicle operation and cause a crash. On page 234, it also states that add-on equipment can only be connected to the accessory power outlets. On page 316, it again states "do not add any electrical equipment". Added electrical equipment may interfere with the operation of the OnStar system and cause it to not operate. Privacy (lack of?) Policy Ikon Technologies reserves the right to transfer or lease your Vehicle Information to business partners and independent third parties, providers of the Services and its dealership partners and affiliates. Ikon Technologies may share Vehicle Information when Ikon Technologies is required, or reasonably believes that it is required, by law to share or disclose the Vehicle Information in order to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues, including enforcement of the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy. ikon will use all reasonable prudence in its determination to disseminate, transmit or otherwise communicate or share Vehicle Information with the Services’ providers, partners and any other third party. It literally took me a one minute google search to find out about this device and another minute to remove it. 'Cannot be uninstalled" Another lie. Based upon the above information, especially since Chevrolet specifically states not to add one of these devices, I am expecting a refund of the full retail value of the Ikon Connect system and 3 years of subscription. I will return the unregistered device when this happens. More
LONG REVIEW ! I went to thIs dealership on a referral to their service dept. Well I have to say that was a terrible mistake. Took my suv in for a transmission issue in November 23, I was told that the transmission was on back order. December 23 I received a call it was in. Took my car in they kept it 3 days then called to tell me it was the incorrect size and they would need to reorder and again it was on back order. It is now March 24 no responses from the service manager and no response from the person over the service department. I then decided to call GM with your Vin # they can see all activity on your car. Well there was no open order for a transmission ordered or pending for my car and GM does not have transmissions on back order on top of that the work order was closed in December 23. This dealership gave me the run around I'm sure because my vehicle was still under warranty and no money could be made or because I did not buy my car from them they choose not to help me. I will never use the dealership or refer them to anyone !!!!! More

When developing a quote, they include an "options" charge. This is usually the spraying of Scotch Guard on cloth seats. This charge may be near $2,000, I was told it is "profit". They extremely low-ball the value of the trade-in. The don't use the KBB trade-in value. They were $7,000+ below the KBB valuation. I have been a customer of Friendly Chevrolet for almost two decades now. I have had exemplary service up until my last two visits. The repairs that my car required during the holidays, I was told to take a two decades now. I have had exemplary service up until my last two visits. The repairs that my car required during the holidays, I was told to take a day and a half. After 4 days I received a phone call to come pick up my car. After paying the bill I'm getting in my car and I realize the check engine light would not go out. I had to go back in and tell them. They said it would take another day to figure out. The next day I came back and they said my car was ready. I drove it home and the next day I went to the grocery store and then took my son for a haircut and saw oil pouring out from beneath the car. I called and they said that they do not do that type of work over the weekend and to make an appointment for the following Monday to bring it back in. That repair took two more days. No loaner or rental was ever available. After I picked it up, I realized I still smelled oil burning and antifreeze. I did not have the time to take off from work to take it back in until March. When I took it in they said that the problem was something totally different this time and it would cost a fortune. It should take 2 days to fix. I would check back with them every couple of days to see when it would be ready, after 8 days I received a phone call saying it would be ready by the next morning. Nine days to make a repair that was supposed to take two. I have had my car back for 2 weeks and I still smell oil burning and antifreeze. I have not been able to figure out how I'm going to pay for these last repairs, but I am certainly not bringing it back to this place. I have never had such poor service at this dealership since I started going there. More
Purchased a truck in 2020, within a month the info-tainment blacked out. Continued blacking out and to no avail, nothing was ever fixed. Fast forward to this year and my truck was totaled in Apri info-tainment blacked out. Continued blacking out and to no avail, nothing was ever fixed. Fast forward to this year and my truck was totaled in April after a lady pulled out in front of me. It has taken the accounting department multiple phone calls and reminders to send my warranty refunds!! To cancel Ally they informed me I had to come in person!! Then accounting hadn’t event processed the cancellation by the time I purchased another vehicle. Now 7 months later, I’m continuing to have to call because they are holding a $1300 warranty refund! Horrible service and sounds like the dealership tries everything to keep any $$ they can! It’s not their money to keep! It should have already been released!!! More
