Time wasted My hsb brought his Lincoln in for an oil change- dropping it off on Friday eve. He has done this faithfully since buying this vehicle from Friendly. My hsb brought his Lincoln in for an oil change- dropping it off on Friday eve. He has done this faithfully since buying this vehicle from Friendly. He informed the service dept that his key wasn’t always working. Did it need a new battery. They would look into it. When picking it up sat afternoon, he was told they didn’t know what to do about the key. He’d have to go to the Lincoln dealership. That’s good advice. If they cannot do something as simple as change a battery in a keyfob that isn’t chevy. Then they shouldn’t be servicing the car. Period. Of course my hsb was out running errands on Sunday and got stuck because his car wouldn’t start!!! Thank goodness the battery store was open and changed the battery. Problem solved!! But the garage couldn’t have done that and saved him all the time wasted and frustration!? More
