Poor experience with 2013 Mercedes purchase 2013 Mercedes 3500 conversion -- Purchase 02/2020 I understood that this van was a consignment sale, but I was under the impression from the beginnin 2013 Mercedes 3500 conversion -- Purchase 02/2020 I understood that this van was a consignment sale, but I was under the impression from the beginning that this vehicle had at least been checked out. Dealer sales listing stated it would be PA inspected prior to sale and I was assured it had been done the day of the sale but was told no inspection sticker was installed because I live out of state. Post purchase I rotated the tires and found all the rear dual lug nuts rusty and had not been removed in months -- the water heating and rear furnace heating system is not operational -- the refrigerator will not cool below 50 degrees -- fresh water fill line was torn and hanging under vehicle at rear axle. Though Pete was a very nice person, that is the extent of my pleasure with this dealer. I will also share some of the blame, as I drove from Virginia Beach to purchase this vehicle during an absolute downpour and did not take the hours necessary to individually check each system to it's fullest or take it to another dealer to have them evaluated. Given their name and reputation, I would have expected that someone would have at least checked these systems prior to agreeing to list it -- this Purchase from this dealer was no better than a newspaper ad. Great buying experience, pleasant staff. Drove home our new 2020 Coachmen Beyond 22D yesterday, trading in our 10 month old Hymer 1.0 loft. From the trade in value we received to the purchase price of the new vehicle, we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant buying experience. Harris Walters is a number one salesman as well as a wonderful individual. No tricks, no hidden "gotcha", just delivered on everything promised. Reviewed the vehicle with me prior to the "drive off", answered every question. Eric Fasci and Brian Strampel were very easy to deal with and made the entire process seamless. I understand, they are car salesmen, but I feel like they treated us as fellow human beings, good deal for us, good deal for them.
