I took my Jeep down to Fresno Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to have an oil change done under a factory special. I called the day before to make an appointment and everything seemed fine. When I dropped my Jeep off first thing in the morning they told me it should be ready in an hour. Three and a half hours later I finally got my vehicle. While driving home I noticed the dealer had put a service static cling on my windshield (like most oil places do) that said they had used 5W30 oil. The owners manual calls for 10W30 and the professional references I have access to suggest that 5W30 only be used in low (ie <60ºF) temperature applications. That is to say, the dealer used the wrong oil. When I called to ask why the elected to use 5W30 I was told 'you'll be fine.' When I pointed out that the factory spec for my vehicle under the applicable conditions is 10W30 (5W30 is not recommended for the temperature range Fresno experiences) the service adviser gave me the 'you get what you pay for.' If they had told me upfront that they were going to ignore the factory spec and use a different viscosity oil I would have left and done the oil change myself using the correct lubricant. Their advisers where very rude and unprofessional. I have since heard similar stories from other people who have dealt this this dealerships service department. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone seeking service. More
I brought our 2008 Jeep (1/16) in to service the rear wiper unit, would not spray. Along with this service a complete check of the Jeep was done per dealership. We were told there was nothing wrong. So we had to demonstrate how it did not work and then noticed the rear wiper was shred. The rear wiper liquid works now and the dealership put free wipers around for not noticing during the inspection (SECOND TRIP BACK TO DEALERSHIP) all the blades were bad.. so all in all not a bad experience. First off, I was on the hunt for a 2012 Charger SXT Rallye. This was my 3rd dealership I had been to. First was Lampee of Visalia which didn't want to cut a deal. Both wanted to get as much money out of us as they could and both said it is out of the question to get this kind of car with our credit. Though we only had a mortgage payment all own over 7 payed off cars, how could we not get it? Getting back to the topic, I spoken with Kyle and he straight up told me "why didn't you come to me first? I would have saved you a lot of headaches!" I chuckled at his remark but had a feeling things would be different and of course, not even 2 hrs time I drove off in my new charger! Fastest I have ever purchased and easiest. I was literately blown away. It was like I blinked my eyes once and the key was in my hand. It still seems surreal but Kyle did an amazing job and I would recommend seeing him if your looking to buy a new ride. And for Financing, Kudos goes out to Mr. Bodi in financing a giving us another great deal with an extended warrenty. He ICED the cake for us. Truely and amazing experience!!! The gentleman that I spoke to and who called me was very nice. He did an excellent job. BUT when I went to pick up my car the clerk/receptionist was the Rudest person ever. Our experience with Chrysler has been excellent. This is our second vehicle purchased from them. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Kyle was our sales person. I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. It was a little over 3 hours to complete this service with an appointment I had scheduled for 1:20 pm on Saturday 02/18/2012. I had a great experience at this dealership on 2/15/2012. I was greeted by Neal Cuddy as soon as I arrived. I was interested in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and he showed me several models on their lot . He seemed to be very knowledgable about each model and expertly answered all of my questions. He showed me a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and after a test drive I knew it was the one I wanted. Neal was very pleasant during the process and showed concern about getting me the best deal without a lot of nonsense. I was quite comfortable during the whole transaction. I will certainly recommend Neal and your dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle. I also have to give David in finance kudos for the way he handled my financing. I expected to get the hard sell for everything under the sun, but he asked me the right questions and helped me choose the best options for me.
