The Service Department at Fremont Toyota should change their name to the 'rude, we don't need you business department'. Hiring such conceited, monotone, unsmiling people such as James Miller whom I dealt their name to the 'rude, we don't need you business department'. Hiring such conceited, monotone, unsmiling people such as James Miller whom I dealt with shows their inability to understand that in this day of age being rude to customers will not go unheard of. I'm happy that I can share my experience here so that other owners of their beloved Toyotas should not have to be subjugated to such encounters when servicing their vehicles. James was confrontational, wanting to have the last word, and made me feel so small in front of other customers in his office only because I complained about waiting twenty minutes in order for someone just to talk to me. When I first went to go pickup my car after Fremont Toyota called me and told me that it's ready, I looked for the original advisor to help me out, but he was no where to be found. I was told to go and talk to James because he takes care of his co-worker's work when the other one isn't available, and so I simply asked him if he can get someone to get my car which had been there to get an oil change. He told me he'll page the original advisor and that he can't help me! I was confused because the manager told me that James would help me. Anyway, the original advisor never came in. I asked James to help me out because I've been there for twenty minutes now and the person he paged might have been gone for the day. This is when James unleashed on me as began treating me like I was a nobody since I was just there for an oil change. He ruined my weekend. Never again would I ever go back to this place. More
I bought two Toyotas (one mini van and one Prius) from that dealership and have been there for services since then. The service manager was/is very professional, courteous and give you the straight talk w that dealership and have been there for services since then. The service manager was/is very professional, courteous and give you the straight talk what you need and what can be put off until future service. No pushy or the phony "fear factor" type of salesmanship. I like that kind of service. We all have to earn a living. That dealership does just that., earn the trust of its customers to make a "living," so to speak. Give it a try and if possible, ask for Steve Sako, the service advisor. A very nice and helpful guy. I called on a Friday for an early morning Saturday service. I was greeted by Daniel who was clean, courteous and friendly. He was knowledgeable and respectful. When I explained to him that the proble service. I was greeted by Daniel who was clean, courteous and friendly. He was knowledgeable and respectful. When I explained to him that the problem was that my car was growling when I drove it and when it idled he explained that it was probably the bearings in the car's water pump ( my dad said the same thing). My car was whisked away and under went a thorough exam and I was driven home by Toyota's courtesy shuttle. Daniel called and kept me informed of my cars progress and the mechanic had also said the brakes needed to be replaced (that was documented on the previous service). Daniel also understood my concern with expense and need for safety. All said and done my car was returned before 4pm and had even had a courteous wash. I am confident that the service was thorough and fairly priced ( I have used another service for an oil change once before and that cost was slightly more than Fremont Toyota Service Center). My car is ready to go anywhere I want to go! Thank you Daniel and Fremont Toyota Service Center More
following is why i rated Fremont Toyota a zero star business: i took my Toyota in to have my brakes serviced, i was charged $700 and my brakes are still malfunctioning. I then took it to an honest 5 st business: i took my Toyota in to have my brakes serviced, i was charged $700 and my brakes are still malfunctioning. I then took it to an honest 5 star mechanic shop called Foothill Car Care where they said Toyota overcharged me by $400 and the problem is not solved. Thanks for nothing Fremont Toyota i will never be back and im posting this on Facebook so 1000 other people dont get professionally ripped off. More

Our Prius has been serviced at Fremont Toyota almost from its first mile - now at 280K, we are very satisfied with everything Fremont Toyota has done. When my Prius was new I tried another Toyota dealer for service (because it was closer to my office). Bad experience, and Fremont Toyota has earned my customer loyalty by always doing regular maintenance r service (because it was closer to my office). Bad experience, and Fremont Toyota has earned my customer loyalty by always doing regular maintenance right, being good about time estimates, pricing reasonably, and holding onto long-time employees who are courteous and know my car's service history even before they log on for the record. We have had only two major problems - the catalytic converter and the brake control chip failed - but at such high mileage that Toyota gets great credit for building reliable parts. For long-distance commuters, this means peace of mind. We are also still on the original brakes at 270,000mi. Other dealers might have tried to fake some problems just to up their bill. My perception of Fremont Toyota is that they have been honest, and that's a good thing. More
