The last two times I’ve brought both cars here for their regular services in the last nine months it’s been a complete disaster. Firstly I’ve driven in and no one helps you, I’ve been completely ignored the last two times, it’s as if all of a sudden no one here cares about helping you, I just don’t understand. Also I’ve been here several times and my services have been within an hour or hour and a half but the last two times I’ve been waiting well over four hours for my cars. The general attitude of the employees is one of just whatever, its as if they couldn’t care less about assisting customers. I found it interesting as I was being checked out this last time there was another very upset customer who was asking why their service took so long. After the customer left I heard one of the service guys tell the other to make sure they changed their email address so they didn’t receive a survey. How sad it is that they have go to such great lengths to cover up their poor customer service. Up until these last two visits I was always happy with Fremont Toyota but I will find another Toyota dealership to service my cars. I love and am very loyal to Toyota just no longer Fremont Toyota. Along with taking almost all day for an oil change they told my daughter that it was leaking oil very badly and needed a timing cover seal for $2,000. I was terrified as they told me that it can severely damage my engine and almost told them to do it but changed my mind and got a second opinion from my local mechanic. My mechanic informed me that there was nothing wrong with my timing seal and it was only seeping oil which it completely normal as there is pressure under the seal. He said it was perfectly fine. What a bunch of thieves at Fremont Toyota! I will never go back there again and will tell as many people as possible of the rip off artists that are employed at Fremont Toyota! Don't trust the people in the service area, they are crooks! More

You’d t First of all days leading up to my service appointment they spam the heck out my phone with email reminders, I mean like a ridiculous amount. You’d think a business that’s so worried about getting their customers to keep their service appointments would handle their service in a pleasant and timely manner but you’d be wrong. I brought my car in 15 minutes before the time of my actual appointment and I waited 20 minutes past my appointment to get assisted. That was a joke in and of itself. The advisor Josh also had no clue about gauging time for my car to be done. He told me an hour and a half, after three and a half hours my car had just been getting pulled into the work area for its oil change. It was just under 5 total hours for my car to get done and no information as to why it took that long. It appears as though at this place your car just goes into a black hole then they point you into their waiting room then just forget about you. Very poor service, that’s all I have to say about Toyota in Fremont. More
The service center here has a total lack of regard for the c I had my first 5000 mile appointment here at 9:00am and I brought my car in at 8:45 and I was as told the service would take about 90 minutes. I thou I had my first 5000 mile appointment here at 9:00am and I brought my car in at 8:45 and I was as told the service would take about 90 minutes. I thought great, I can get a shuttle ride to Club Sport and get a ride back by 11:45 and my car would be done. I went to the shuttle area and waited...and waited...and waited. At 9:30 I checked on the shuttle and was told that I just missed the shuttle when I signed in and that it may be another hour before it returned. When I made my appointment I was not notified that there was just 1 shuttle and it might be 90 minutes before I got a ride. Had I known that I would have made other arrangements for a ride. I rented a car from the service department for 2 hours. I returned to the service center at 11:30 and checked to see if my car was ready. I was told that there was still one car before my car can be serviced. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A 9AM APPT WHEN MY CAR IS NOT SERVICED UNTIL 12:10PM? It appears anyone driving in for service was put into the queue as they came in. If that is not the case, then Fremont Toyota overbooked appointment slots, like airlines overbook seats. Both are horrendous and abysmal from a customer service standpoint. The service advisor said that the only true way for someone to get out at 7AM they need to be one of the first 4 cars. He said that Fremont Toyota remixed the oil change and tire rotation quick service “line” and combined it with the regular service line. I’m not sure what this means. Do they not have enough service techs to work on the cars? If so why make so many appointments during that slot. If too many techs called in sick I could have been told this when I checked that car in and told that se Nice would take longer than expected and be given the option to come another time. If I was told it could be 4 hours, I would have preferred to come back another day. I could have made arrangements. But no, I was told 90 minutes. Some people would not mind being told since they leave their car there until they get off work. A total lack of regard for the customer and their time. Your sakes deairtment was easier to deal with it is so unfortunate that the Servuce department is so lacking in telling the customer that our expectation for prompt service is incorrect that service can take 4 hours to just rotate my tires and to check fluids. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible service! I went in for an oil change on my corolla in early January and I’m just now getting around to writing this review. I am rarely the type of person tha I went in for an oil change on my corolla in early January and I’m just now getting around to writing this review. I am rarely the type of person that writes reviews and complains but I was treated so horribly bad here that I had to go online to share my dreadful experience. I made an appointment to get my car serviced on a Friday at 8:00am, I showed up 10 minutes early and even though there were barely any cars there I was not assisted until 8:20, that aside the awful experience ensued. I was informed by my advisor Ramero that my oil change would take two to three hours, now I’ve had oil changes here in the past and it took roughly an hour or so but no big deal I thought I’d just wait and get some work done for a few hours, the WiFi here is sub standard at best by the way. After about two hours I go to check on my car and I’m informed by Ramero it will be another hour. After another hour I go to see if it’s done and I’m told another hour, keep in mind this is as just a simple oil change. To make a long story short I went there at 8:00am and my car was given back to me at 4:00! I had to inititate every contact as not once did my service guy come to let me know what was going on with my car. 8 hours for an oil change?!!! Are you kidding me?! Ramiro was very apologetic telling me that they didn’t have mechanics and it was a very busy day and so on and so forth. Not sure what he meant by busy as there were barely any cars when I pulled up and I didn’t see many cars coming in and out throughout the day so I’m not sure what constitutes “busy” at this place. I was less than impressed by this horrible experience and will not be back. I purchased my corolla here but I live closer to Capital Toyota I brought it here as I work in Newark. I will be giving Capital a try as I’m sure that oil changes don’t take 8 hours there. The customer service at this place, all of the reviews here are correct, stinks! Do yourself a favor and find another place to service your Toyota as this place will have a complete lack of respect for your time. On top of everything else they left my oil plug loose and I have oil drops on my driveway. Joke! More

There were three other vehicles that came around the same time as I did and all of us were waiting to be assisted. Five minutes turned into ten minutes then into 30 minutes and no one came out to assist any of us, we were just there standing next to our cars like mannequins being completely ignored. The sad part about this is that they were not busy, all of the service managers were sitting at their desks chopping it up with each other. One of the people waiting went into the office and asked what was going on and somebody finally came out. It was finally my turn after I was shelved next to my car for about 40 minutes. Mario came out and helped me and when we went back into his work area he was eating as he was writing me up. The service here at that point had become comical and I started laughing he asked what was funny and to share the joke with him and I sarcastically told him he was part of the joke. I waited there for what seemed like hours just for a routine maintenance on my Prius. If management or ownership of this place ever reads these, which I doubt they do, you need to simply realize that your employees complete lack of customer service and empathy for your customers time is noticed by your customers and is definitely costing you business. I will most certainly not be back and from the looks of other reviews in this website neither will many other people. More
TURNED AWAY FROM SERVICE! My wife and I have been servicing our Camry here for the past 3 years since we moved here from Indianapolis and our past visits have always been fine My wife and I have been servicing our Camry here for the past 3 years since we moved here from Indianapolis and our past visits have always been fine up until this last visit. Our Camry’s check engine light came on and on the way to the service department the engine started missing terribly to the point it completely died on the freeway. I waited about 20 minutes and started it back up and limped it into the Fremont Toyota service department. I was met by a person who asked if I had an appointment and I replied no and informed him that my check engine light had just come on and my freeway story. He said sorry if I didn’t have an appointment they couldn’t see me - how ridiculous is that? I spoke with the manager Tim who was rude, condescending and arrogant. He too informed me, in a very abrupt manner I might add, that if I didn’t have an appointment my car was not going to be seen. Well I’m sorry my car didn’t warn me that it was about to die on me, I’ll be sure to ask it to do that next time. I asked if he could fit me in and even keep the car for a couple of days to look at it and he flat out refused and said for me to make an appointment. I then got into my car and drive over to Piercy Toyota and explained my situation to them. The advisor was courteous and informed me they could take my car in and havevit looked at the next day, now that’s customer service! My car was ready in 4 days because it had bad fuel injectors. I’m a new customer of Piercy Toyota and will never again visit Fremont Toyota, they could care less about servicing their customers. More
TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY fREMONT SERVICE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS DEALER SERVICE. My car began to miss and stutter on my way to work in Fremont. Since they were close, I limped into the TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS DEALER SERVICE. My car began to miss and stutter on my way to work in Fremont. Since they were close, I limped into their service the Friday before Xmas. After giving me initial attitude about 'not having an appointment[' (who plans a breakdown?) they looked at the car and said, "yeah looks like a head gasket leak." $1100 later I have new plugs and wires (labor was $650) and drive out. Two blocks later the check engine light comes on again and I returned immediately. Had to rent a car ($30) to get home that night and to return on Saturday. Pick it up the next day and basically get some story about 'the thermostat might be bad' but I should get home all right. Today my local guy checked it out - nothing wrong there, but I do need a new head gasket - which is what fouled the wires and plugs in the first place! Imagine if they had just fixed that instead of the 'quick fix'. Also, no way they spent $650 on labor. My guy says he could have done it 2.5 hours. So their labor rate is $265 an hour? Way to take advantage of someone in need. TOTAL CROOKS. More

My service guy kept complaining that they don't have enough mechanics and that its a difficult place to work, news flash for you my friend, customers don't care about your employee problems. Just change my xxxx oil so I can be on my way. After 7 hours and me harrassing them to get my oil changed so i could leave, they finally did it. To top it off the guy asks me to give him a good review when Toyota calls to ask how my service went, sure pal I can't wait to talk to them... More

Dropped it off in the morning right when they opened and throughout the day I called three times to get a status on my Camry. They did not return a single massage and I left several. I finally went down to see if it was done as I didn't receive any kind of update and a rep who didn't help me when I dropped off the car tells me it looks like its been done for a couple of hours, I was completely smh, they couldn't even call to tell me it was done. I then wait for them to bring my car and they couldn't find it, I waited for 45 minutes while they looked for my car. Then I was told they found it but couldn't find the keys, I was shocked. Finally after waiting an hour and a half they brought my car up. There was no apology, no sorry for the wait, sorry we didn't call you, nothing. Customer service does not exist in this place. More
