I say all this to emphasize a MAJOR lesson I learned in both the Air Force and the contacting industry ... If you put people first, mission success & profits will follow - if you put profits first, you will lose your best people and mission success & profits will suffer. Jason Wasia and Shannon Knapp are excellent service reps. ALL of your service department runs on the shoulders of these 2 people. Other reps come and go; new reps rarely last more than a month, some less then 2 weeks. This reveals your process for motivating and retaining reps is BROKE! In my 7 years dealing with Freemont service, only Jason and Shannon remain; if you don't get these 2 help soon, you may drive them away, leaving a most untenable situation. A successful service department is PARAMOUNT to a successful dealership. I have first-hand knowledge based on the dealership where my Father worked for 33 years. The dealership NEVER had a negative profit month because the service department kept them afloat. A good service department is a must for any dealership; and needs good service reps at the helm. Suggest someone in authority review your operations for retaining and motivating Service Reps! More
