I called 3 days in a row and left messages with a lady with the last name Partida in the service department requesting a call back to schedule a service appointment. I even did an online chat requesting a with the last name Partida in the service department requesting a call back to schedule a service appointment. I even did an online chat requesting a call back. I have not been called back to schedule this appointment. I called the Ford store San Leandro and left a message there. They called back the next day to schedule an appointment. Fremont Ford will not be getting my business anymore. More

Horrible Service Where to begin. I started by going online to chat with an "online" service manager and was told that someone would call me to schedule appointment fo Where to begin. I started by going online to chat with an "online" service manager and was told that someone would call me to schedule appointment for oil change of my vehicle. No one called me back. I decided to take the vehicles all the way down to Morgan Hill Ford Store where the vehicle was purchased and got impeccable service there. A few weeks later there was a rattling sound emanating from the engine area. I decided to take it to Fremont Ford since only a few miles away from my office. I dropped off the vehicle with service advisor Wally and was told it would take a day to diagnose the issue and to drop off the vehicle over night. The next day I called and left a message to get status. No response no call back. I called an hour later. No response, no call back. Then I contacted the service department to get status and no one knew the status of the vehicle and was told someone would call me back. I waited and it was already Friday afternoon and I was going to catch a flight on Saturday and would be out the entire week. Frustrated with the lack of response, I drove to the Ford dealership myself to get status. Wally was not around and finally service manager informed me that they would need the vehicle over the weekend to find out what was going on. I had to travel for the following week but informed a co-worker to follow up on it while I was out and pick up the vehicle during the week. To my surprise one week later was when the vehicle was finally finished. During the week while I was gone, my co-worker was also frustrated with the lack of communication by Ford. Really one week to fix a rattle coming from the engine bay?? That Monday when I finally could pick up the vehicle, I was put on hold then was hung up on. Frustrated I got a ride a visited the dealership. Again no Wally, but eventually the vehicle was found. This by far is the worst service experience I had to endure for any vehicle that I have owned. The service advisor was MIA and no one returned calls or seemed to know what was going on. The standard answer was "only Wally would know." But if Wally is not around then what?? Horrible experience and definitely will take the extra drive from Fremont to Morgan Hill next time. At least there, someone answers the phone and returns calls. More
Appointment time and greeting when arrived at service center Had a recall notice and since the vehicle was due for a regular scheduled maintenance, I set up an appointment for it all to be done at once. Arrived at maintenance center for 0800 appt, and when my turn came up, was greeted very friendly and informatively. Only thing I would recommend, is that when they turn off the computer or whatever they did to fix the recall part, they would set all the programs back to where they were when I drove it in. Small things like setting the clock to the correct time, setting the headlights back to where they were set to come on automatically etc. Thanks like that make a huge impression. Thank You. More
