Service Department Although I live 90 miles from Goldsboro, I have bought several vehicles from Frema through the years; Volkswagons and Mazdas (and a few used cars!) I even continue to drive 90 miles for servicing on my vehicles; the service department is great... especially Charlie Howell ! He is always so helpful !!! Many times I have thought about having my Mazda serviced locally since it would be more convenient but because of Charlie Howell (and others) I will continue to make arrangements to have the vehicle serviced at the Frema Volkswagon-Mazda dealership in Goldsboro. Frema service the best !!! I had a used Beetle convertible. I called the Raleigh dealers to fix a broken rear window winder, they told me $700.00. I called Frma and they said it I had a used Beetle convertible. I called the Raleigh dealers to fix a broken rear window winder, they told me $700.00. I called Frma and they said it was a problem that should have been recalled and that VW gave all dealers the parts and told the dealers to charge whatever they wanted for labor. Frema not only repaired the broken window winder they also installed the parts on the other rear window so it wouldn't break. What did he charge me......NOTHING !!! So I sold the car soon after and went back to Frema to buy a 2017 Beetle convertible for my wife. David K. More

One week later the timing belt components and tensioner broke, they said it was do to my engine being old with 200,000 miles on it that cause it. They also said the components and tensioner is not part of work. Now I ask, at the time of work compression of that engine was fine, if all those parts they claimed was old, why did they not advise me to have them changed also. Now, my engine is shot, they said tough luck and is not their fault. More
Not good businesseship I bought a 2013 kia in March 2016. Had the car 5 months. The motor went bad. Frema said they couldn't do anything because I didn't get a extended warranty. They said I could get another car if I got a cosigner. I told them I wasn't going to do that because it wasn't my fault. So here I am don't have no car. Already paid over 2000.00 in car payments and nothing to show for it. Once again its all about the money not the customer. I am very disappointed. Because to me a 3 year old car motor shouldn't go bad. No I wouldn't recommend Frema Motors. BILLY SIMMONS GOLDSBORO NC More

When I complained about this to the general manager, he told me "you have too much time on your hands." Typical classless, sleazy sales staff - will not ever be visiting this dealership again. More

They never pressured me or tried to push me into settling for something I didn't want. I am very pleased with the deal I got and I absolutely love my VW Beetle! I found this dealership to be professional, trustworthy and appreciative of their customers. They stood by everything they told me they would do 100%!
