CMax Audio Module Replacement Dean diagnosed an audio module failure. This was confirmed by a full diagnostic. AM was replaced and I picked up car as scheduled. So far, everythin Dean diagnosed an audio module failure. This was confirmed by a full diagnostic. AM was replaced and I picked up car as scheduled. So far, everything seems to be working normally. Bryan was concerned that the car was on the lot for a month, but that was the deal I made with Dean when I dropped the car off. I was leaving for 5 weeks in China the next day. More

They are so good I trusted them with my daughter! Two rattles, neither fixed, one made worse Brought my Ford Edge to Freeway Ford to address two rattles. I was very specific with where they were and how to recreate them. Left my car there for Brought my Ford Edge to Freeway Ford to address two rattles. I was very specific with where they were and how to recreate them. Left my car there for the day, and Ford said they could not find either of them. Disappointed, I asked John (my service rep) to go on a ride with me when I picked it up. We found the rattles within 10 seconds of ramping onto the highway. He said one of the rattles we heard is common and unfixable. He showed me exactly where it is and how it happens. The part looked damaged, which was likely done when the car was fixed for another issue. However, John classified the damage as "cosmetic", because the part still functioned.. even though the part now rattled. I was told that every Edge rattles like that. The fix for that rattle was "turn up the radio", as John put it. By parallel reasoning, does that mean that if Ford dented my door during service they wouldn't fix it because the door still functions? I doubt it. The other rattle I could poke the area and make it stop. I figured that would should be very fixable. But after leaving my car at the dealership for over a week, John told me Ford did the best they could but couldn't fix it. John said that they followed the only work instructions for that area, but it didn't fix it. So they were out of ideas and gave up. Unfortunately, whatever they did to try and fix it actually made the rattle worse. In the end, I brought my car to the dealership 4 separate times for the same issue, and left it there for over a week in total. Neither rattle was fixed, and one was made worse. I would not recommend this dealership. Ford's fixes, per John, were "turn up the radio", "it's not that bad", and "it wouldn't bother me". On the bright side, they did wash my car and fill up the gas tank on the last pickup. Nonetheless, I left disappointed. More
