I’ve always had good service until now. This is the 3rd car I have bought from Freeman. My sales guy and finance guy were exceptional. Service not so much. First of all, I’m a little disgruntled that I bought a new car and 3 weeks later, the engine light comes on with a message stating that my secondary break system is malfunctioning. I had less than 700 miles on the car. I take it in to the service center and am told it would be 2-4 hours and they will get back with me. They took me to work in a van with 2 other strangers because there are never loaner cars available. 6 hours after I left my brand new car, I tried calling for another hour. I ended up calling my salesman, Tommy, and he was able to get service to call me back within 10 minutes. The service girl, Haley, was very nice. She explained that they went through the motions of diagnosing the issue but came up with nothing. They did get the engine light off and said they would call Toyota to see if there are other steps the should take and I would probably need to bring the car in for a couple of days. Of course, I’ve heard nothing…it’s been 3 business days later? The shuttle was picking up other customers so I had to have a coworker take me to pick up my car. I got there and asked when my license plates are and they informed me they would be mailed to Freeman. The next day, I got a card in the mail stating that my license plates were at Freeman. So obviously no one at Freeman looked the evening before to get my plates to me. They were there. When I got my car back, it was dirty. They readjusted all my mirrors and seat and didn’t put paper on the carpet to keep their dirty, oily work boots from staining my carpet and seats. Poor service…so sad that customer service is not a priority. More
